I don't smoke any more but as it helps me with the pain associated with my illness Multiple Sclerosis, I was just wondering if the leaves can be used as well as the bud ? I was just wondering as I eat it in chocolate.

You can use the leaves.
People make canna butter or tea etc.
you do not need much potency though to treat illnesses or ease them so i beleive.
i would try using every single bit of your plants apart from the roots.
I think every single bit, even the stem can only do good for you.

when trimming i've kept anything with trichs on for bubblebags and canna butter after, didnt think the leaves did much if there were no visable signs of trichs...... If i'm wrong i'll not chuck my fan leaves in the hedge!

I am not sure, but can't trim and even stalks be used to make oil? They would have to be at a pretty mature stage though. The trim leaves from mature bud can certainly have a lot of trichromes on them..
