if i wanted to freeze some weed so it will keep longer would it be best to freeze it when it was fresh or after it had been dried and cured?
Puff Adder
At one stage I was vacuum packing my weed and sticking it in the freezer. Its fine as long as you make sure no moisture can get inside, had one packet that went mouldy after 4 months. Nowadays I prefer keeping all my green in glass jars as you can keep it for ages like that. I do like to give it some air every now and then.

If your freezing it, like the puff adder has said make sure its dry otherwise your THC crystals can "pop" in the freezer if they're still wet.

Again like puff adder has said I just keep mine in glass jars the weed last's forever like that, just make sure its dry so it won't go mouldy.

i keep my weed in jars at the moment but i only harvest once a year now so i need it to last a very long time.
after 5 or 6 months weed in jars gets way too dry with all the opening and closing.
i was thinking that if i froze a few bags it would keep it a lot fresher then if it was in a jar.

freeze it in the glass jars, the ones with the rubber seal and metal clip - keep the moisture out, once you have dried and cured your weed!

I have weed with 1 year in jars it's getting better every day tongue.gif

As long as the jar is seal (the grandmas rubber jam jars) and the weed is dry it doesn't get bad, you might end up with more CBD for me thats not a problem is an advantage.

If after the initial cure until the weed is perfect the jar is then kept sealed and in a dark cool place I found weed kept like this after 2 years is still very very potent if not better than the initial smoke.

If you keep opening the jars all the time after they've cured it'll dry to a crisp eventually, more jars is the solution.

If you're going to freeze it make sure it's dried properly before putting it in the freezer. You can store it freshly cut and frozen but there's no advantage. Better to dry it and store it in jars somewhere cool. It'll last for years plus it's a bit of a security risk having weed in the freezer if you ask me smile.gif
