Hi, I have always wondered how come Nirvana seeds are dirt cheap?
My friend has one of their Purple bud strain and is putting his curiousity to task by seeing just how good a £1.79p seed can be.

Has any EXPERIANCED grower/Toker tried any of nirvana's range and come up with a beauty? If so we would love to hear how she smoked and any pictures showing yield would be great. After losing 15 NL seeds from Sensi at £95 a go we are real pissed. The same happened with a certain Jack Herer he purchased at £115.00, none germ'd. I would blame him but all the other seeds germ'd and are doing very well indeed.

Your comments would be most helpfull

Hello,

Check this thread is abit long but some good and bads points in there.

Nirvana Seeds Why?

Cheap does not meen they are 'crap', afterall their genetics are what other seedbank/breeders have created, Nirvana have just replicated them and sold them on cheaper.

I've only grown out Bubblicious from Nirvana, one of my first grows and that turned out pretty great.

Heard lots on this forum about White Rhino, Papaya, Pure Power Plant being pretty darn good, hoping to try them myself, esp wr. guitar.gif

I've used Nirvana seeds plenty of times.

AK-48
Big Bud
Blue Mystic
Ice
Jock Horror
K2
NLxBig Bud
NLxHaze
Snow White
White Rhino

A Rasta friend said he white deathed off my Jock Horror buds.. I gotta agree, that was some heavy shit..

Ice is also a quality smoke.

I got 8oz bone dry from one NLxBig Bud plant, buzzing..

But I've tried to germ 20 seeds of S.A.G.E in total to no avail..

So Nirvana gets a thumbs up from me for Price & Quality

Thankyou for the link posted and also big thanks for the information added as well about Nirvana, I look forward to me mates Purple Bud.

And reckons we shall be getting some more from nirvana especially since i just noticed they have a new entire seed range just out, cheers all!

the "you get what you pay for rule" doesn't always work with seeds look at the doggies nuts...... I've grown a few, you get a few pheno's but they are good value... ppp stands out for me

these are mid flower Jock Horrors I grew last year... they are the same age in the same room although they don't look that similiar

So far i've grown ICE, it's alright.
Alot of variation, but i guess that's a good and a bad thing.

Growing their Papaya (mango) at the moment, i'd try their strains again.

cheesebud
had my best result outdoors with nirvana papaya not so good with ak47 trying c.o.b now just put 1 into flower room planted 8 seeds out of 10 give 2 away and all germed 4 males 4 females only thing bugs me about reg seeds from nirvana is the time soil and space waste for the males
Weedio
I'm growing Papaya indoors at the moment, what was the stretch like and the smoke like?
Bert
First grow was from Nirvana. Skunk no1.
Out of 10 seeds 2 failed to germ, 7 were males and I still have the 1 girl as a mother and its a cracking smoke.

Ooops almost forgot to keep an eye on this thread, cheers for keeping it alive...
The purple bud from Nirvana that my mate has is now doing very well, all have shown excellent re-rooting ability (inside 10days) and are rapidly gaining stature, still a little yellowey for his liking but the picture of the purple bud in vegative state online is also a tad yellowey so he's happy enough..
Yes please keep me posted about that Papaya, he likes the look of that one too, maybe next time...

Been growing Nirvana seeds since my 1st grow gotta say ive had no probs considering what ive spent. 10 quid for the Aurora Indica and not much more for their NL . Variation in thier stock is I guess a prob for some, but as I my seed grows are primarily to find good mothers for clones, the variation suits me fine. Got 1 beautiful NL and 2 nice Aurora mothers from cheap Nirvana selections. Introducing DP Mazar and Powerplant to my room to see if these seeds are a step up in my limited experience, hoping for a male of each so I can cross with NL AI, just for curiosities sake, and as a lesson in breeding, can see both sides of the coin as far as Nirvanas stock is concerned, but for a beginner, how can u go wrong?
Edward Scissorhands
This is 1 of the NL AI Phenos I got out of a bag of 10 ( 5 fems as I recall) reminds my nose of "bazooka joe" bubblegum I chewed as a kid, The other keeper was more piney, fatter and finished around a week earlier (8 weeks or so, depending on ur preference). Havent done a huge range of grows. but love these babies. She prob got 3-4 weeks left till I chop her, Still smoking some of her sisters from a previous grow so thes can go full term for max effect.

Here are some Nirvana Ak48's from a couple of years ago (hydro). Great smoke.

i have grown out the a indika and it was so fast to grow, and had lots of vigour for sure.and i lost it due to s,mite infestation.but il get it back,it was like smoking a orange.carnt go wrong wiv nirvana. cool.gif

I grew some of Nirvana’s a few years back after I picked up some of their seeds from their shop in the Dam. A bit of variance in phenotype between the plants but they grew vigorously and were a good smoke. I grew AK48, Jock Horror & Crystal – all very strong with differing effects. In fact now they do these in feminised form I may consider them again. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Just a quick update for anyone who is interested about nirvana seeds, ive just had 100% germ rate from them and they are looking very healthy. Ive got some auto flowering seedlings in my grow room that had a week of time to grow and the nirvana strains became twice as tall in 2 days biggrin.gif

Some friends of mine grew some K2 and was suprised it's one of the nicest smokes i've had cool.gif
