hi d|t

thanks for posting

I recommend you check out Matsi's thread for the way he has been growing them

I think the Malana needs about 75 days

more importantly: I think you need to cut the nutrients way back --- my guess is they are getting way too much N

Matsi found a very good way to grow them indoors - I've attached a pic here at around 70 days or so

thanks,

Namkha

Hi Namkha, its smokey smile.gif

Yes, nice result matsi, well done there. smoke.gif

Ok, so I'll try and cut back on the N.

Do you think using just biobizz bloom will work? (npk 2.0 - 6.0 - 3.5), can't really get access to specialist nutrients.

Cheers
namkha
I think very dilute inorganic ferts would be better - just P and K

I suspect there is too much N in biobizz
d|t
I'll try and source some pure P & K mate.

Cheers again namkha smile.gif
namkha
hey

you on a strict time schedule for them?

reason I ask is: I'm really curious about the later stages of flowering

Matsi reported something which I have heard from the people at Cannabiogen, and from Matsi, and from people who have been in Malana and Parvati during October --- this is that the plants become covered in a creamy buttery layer of resins when they hit maturity (Matsi writes about this in his thread)

I think the hybrid potential could be amazing

so if you are in no hurry I am interested to see what they do between 60 - 80 days... I reckon 75 days they will be ready to cut... but what happens after that could be pretty interesting to see

Hi mate

well in my flowering room, i chop the others in about 2 weeks time, so manala will be about 55 days into flower then, do you think around 60-65 days I could switch the light from 12/12 to 18/6? I fiquired she wouldn't revert back into veg mode at this point and I could let her go a bit longer as i'll be vegging up some new plants.

if not, I could always remove her and put her in the dark everyday after she soaks up 12 hrs of light guitar.gif

cheers namkha

namkha
I wouldn't leave it in 18/6 it will get very stressed

12/12

or preferably 10/14

Matsi

if you go back to 18/6 they will start revegging, and posible grow some balls from stress, so i would not advise that :-)

Hi

Tried getting the nutes locally, but no luck sad.gif
I can order them, but it would cost £30 for 1 litre each of P, k.

PK 13/14 is phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.. Do you think it will work well?

Here's a noob question (wondering if you can dilute the strength) if you added 750ml of water to PK13/14 (750ML), would it be PK 6.5/7 ?? g.gif

Thanks for any help

Hi

there's probably enough for them in a big pot

the kind of nutes I was suggesting are all produced with oil energy anyway - best to stay away from such shite really

if you find they look like they need more nutes, you could just transfer them to a bigger pot

you'll be amazed though, they really don't need feeding
Matsi

Just use epsom salt for mg and stinging nettle (is it called that in english?) water for N smile.gif

Basicly you can find all kind of natural stuff to use as nutrients, wich containes the most importent nutes smile.gif

hi namkha, pot size is 6.5L, have been feeding them every other day, sometimes 3 times a week, using very diluted biobizz bloom.

that's a good idea about the pot transfer, might just do that, they look happy enough for now though smile.gif
might give pk a go (low dose)

thanks for help, will post pics soon smile.gif

Oh yeah, forgot about epsom salts thumbsup.gif cheers matsi.

Yes, it is called the nettle, guerella growers try to plant in nettles, apparently the green foilage is an indication of the high nitrogen content in the soil, isnt nature great :rollseye:

How about cashew nut juice or rice water? rofl.gif (high in phosphorus?)

And banana juice for Potassium,
malanabanana biggrin.gif

welcome to experiment

Coconut water is over 95% water, but it also contains potassium, magnesium, sodium, and sugar
