I have an odoursock at the moment, but it's just not as efficient as it needs to be. I got a nasty surprise when I walked through my front door today! I spose I have got so used to the smell I didn't notice it till after I'd been out for a while. I've been looking at replacements, particually the phat/rhino filters. Now, I know these are meant to last a couple of years, but does anyone know if they are re-fillable? I don't fancy spending out for one if it will have to be replaced in the not too distant future. A budget one just wouldn't handle enough air volume. I have a 150 RVK L fan.
Dont waste your time trying to refresh your odour sock there shit and no one uses them really, for 100% removal you need a good CF, i've used a couple of budget filters in the past and personally i never found them to last much longer than 2 grows but i've got my first phatty still after a few grows now and its still going strong.
I'll never change from rhino/phat filters defo worth that bit extra.

Hi Devil, did refresh it, and it lasted for about a week so have given up with it.
Evans, OK thanks for that. Do you know if the phats are re-fillable? Even they will give up one day....
Dont know if there re-fillable or not but they last like 2 years so not that much of a worry, also the reasont there so good is because the type of carbon they use so if you were to refill it then its like having a budget filter really, i'd just buy a new one when the time comes, but mine is about a year and a hlf old now and its still in perfect order.

There is a thread about somewhere about refilling the propper filters
by drilling out the rivets and replacing with selftappers,
loose filler for the filter can be bought from greens,,well worth a look
