I recently visited a Hydroshop which has just opened in my area. The guy who run's it really knows his stuff, and has loads of knowledge on all types of hydro systems. I was really impressed with the shop as they had a fuly working set-up of every hydro system I'd ever heard about!
As I was looking around and chatting to the owner I suddenly realised what a great help he would've been when I first started out! I think if I could've chatted to him before I brought everything I would have had less teething problems, and spent a lot less money on stuff I didn't actually need!
As it stands he's helping me with my new fridge growroom experiment, suggesting best equipment and set-up idea's.
My tip for people starting their first garden is talk to someone who knows what their on about! Your already on the right track by using the wealth of knowledge on UK420
But there is a lot to be said for a one to one conversation with an expert! You can tell them exactly what your looking to do, and they can take you thru what you need step by step.
Even if you hardly buy anything from the store, you can always get good ideas and find what you want cheaper on the NET!
