hi folks

fishing this season has taken a turn for the better .rather than sitting on the canal looking at the most industrial backdrop you could imagine we have joined a new club

we have been fishing a local lake bout 15 mins from home and we are not doing to bad been top rod with 47 fish out of 6 24 hour sessions

heres a few shots ...... nothing massive best been 25lbs but welcome all the same after a few years hard fishing on other waters

we have several other waters to go at to one with big cats in so might have a bash after those at some point

see the weathers cooled off today to much better than all that sun for fishing

i actually got all my gear outta the shed to give it a dusting off, only to find the end snapped off my best match rod, gutted.. thats the last time i lend any of my gear to my son. he just slipped it back in the shed without tellin me. the cheeky shit

Carping,I grow my plants on a plot with a stock-pond with loads of carp in,I often see them sucking around the margins of the pool,and several times over the past few years I have seen dozens of them in the margins during spawning time,sometimes 50-60 fish at once,no one ever fishes there as theres no public access unless you climb a spike-topped fence or you have the keys for the padlock on the gate.

I know what you mean buddy......Upon until a couple of months ago I hadn't had a single Carpy out since October......

i was longer than october mate think i went from last september to the start of april this year without even going fishing at all........

making up for it since then, been every weekend since april, with a few midweeker nights, and a few short in the week sessions to..

gagging for it this season !!!! helps if you catch to dosent it as i find it gets me more revved up to go again
