This diary has already been started and is floating about somewhere in the wrong place but I thought I would start it here and just put the relevant stuff in..

White Rhino, Great White Shark, Passion #1, Gigabud, Cheese, AkAuto, Thai Super Skunk

Soaked some seeds, wet tissued others, 100% germination rate both ways. There was a trainwreck and lemonskunk but they have since passed due to neglect, god rest their souls.

April 20th - Day 16 FLAT INSPECTION!

Had to act fast. They probably werent ready to go out but oh well.

Plot 1
Situated at the end of a tunnel eloquently carved into a mass of sprawling brambles. The plot is south facing, having accomodation for up to 5 plants and benefiting from rich spongy soil. The soil has been improved with Perlite, Fish blood and bone Meal, Coca Coir and many many litres of multi purpose compost.

Currently the home of: - Gigabud, Great White Shark, Passion #1, White Rhino, AutoAK

leapsure skemor
Plot 2
Being adjacent to a remote waterway offering beautiful south facing views. The soil is very sandy but has been improved with multi purpose compost and coca coir. Fish blood and bone meal has also been added. There is a danger of the plants drying and dying if the roots do not meet the water table soon enough

Currently the home of : - 2 unsexed Thai Super Skunks
leapsure skemor
Plot 3
Benefiting from a remote situation surrounded by various deciduous trees, this clearing could house many plants but the discernable occupier may wish to limit usage to one plant in order to minimise the risk of discovery by the local farmer. The plot is very low lying and the soil is moderately clay based. Coca coir, Perlite and Fish Blood/Bone meal have been added. Due to a potential compromise of security, compost has not been added

Sorry...No Pic

I like your tunnel ph34r.gif it takes dedication to prune something like that with a pair of secateurs through a bramble patch.

Three separate plots, now that's what I'm talking about! Are they quite far away from one another i.e. more than 5 minutes walk? I've got one site for my upcoming grow show, but I've got two more sites I'm thinking of using as well. I'm reckoning that by grow at three sites it'll reduce the chances of me losing everything if security gets compromised. Very nice tunnel at your first plot Leapsure, will be interesting seeing how your project evolves. Best of luck!

Thanks all for popping in - Update to follow

916 Thanks, keeping everything crossed. Those psychosis are getting off to a good start!

Withnail Cheers it took me long enough, Il have to pm someone about closing the other diary because there was already one in that section.

weedineed Far as I can tell its not too late, the plants may not be as big but the most beneficial sunshine is yet to come

Bad Penny :-) Thanks, thats nice coming from someone who knows about dedication to this hobby

mr frizzle Now that you come to mentioned I suppose it does sound like that a little....do you sell Pigs for a living? Loving your diary also

smokie1 b c f c Cheers for stopping by and thanks

Puff Adder Thanks, yep multi plot has to be the best way forward. Theyre all in the same county but quite a few miles apart. I am also very pleased with the tunnel. Would love to be able to remember where the inspiration came from as I saw someone else do it in a diary from last year, credit to them anyway. I hope no one finds my tunnel though as they got rumbled near the end.

Azolin I soaked them for 12 hours, then put them in moist tissue paper between plates in a warm place (under a thermostatic heater) Main tips would be read read read - I havnt worked anything new out, its all information other people have worked out and shared on here.

I was very excited as they have grown a lot in the "heatwave" last week. One plant is sick...very sick, but it was a free seed (G13 Gigabud) and I've not heard anything good about them. Looks like some kind of bug problem, very holey.

Plot 2

This last week of very hot weather has been a good test for the sandy soil but it has not dried out and the plants are doing well (They also smell very strange, like fruit and nut chocolate to me).

Plot 3

Cheese - As previously stated, this went straight into the slightly heavy soil with no added compost. It is clear that the roots have not flourished as the other plants have, as it is a bit smaller. As a general note I have a good feeling as the surrounding vegetation now completely hides the plant without blocking sunlight (theres a good angle) and she can get as big as she likes without being spotted

I just like plots Mr F "Here we have a beautiful little 20'X20',en-suite running water from the stream there,a delightfull south facing plot, close to the motorway for ease of access, good for a number of ladies sharing" rofl.gif wink.gif
He put a lot of time and effort into that tunnel wink.gif
leapsure skemor
I am in receipt of a report from the county of the grow that the plants are approaching the 5 foot mark which concerns me somewhat with the only one which has been topped at 3 - 4 ft and bushing out. This means I will be attending the site in the next few days with a view to topping the rest of them as there is only a 6-7ft high visibility safety. I will also be giving the Auto AK the chop as it will be day 70 and it is apparently looking good, not quite ready but very big. Wish me luck update to follow.
leapsure skemor
Possibly some of the first UK outdoor harvested bud? It could have done with 2 more weeks as it was a little late to start flowering but the Auto AK47 had to receive the chop or it would have been left too long until next visit.

looking good. your right though it could have done with some more time but needs must and all that... shall be looking forward the rest of the update carry on......
Stickybud73
weed is weed man, but sheesh tis that all?

one reason why i cannot see the point in lowriders. seriously.

still dude, it's probably THE first harvest indeed! biggrin.gif happy schmoking!!

guitar.gif
leapsure skemor
Absolutely right Stickybud, before this Easy ryder grow I was quite optimistic about auto flowerers, now having grown and smoked one according to the instructions on the packet I am not convinced, stick to the real thing as you will take just as long to finish properly.

When Im in that hole in the end of the tunnel Weedineed, the only thing I want to do is get out of there. I very seldom smoke and it still puts the jitters up me! I think its the fact youre entirely enclosed and cannot see if anyone has walked near, and theres only one way out so you're just praying no ones waiting at the other end of the tunnel.

Anyway you get the idea I didnt take many pictures. All the plants are being eaten alive but I cant get down there to sort them out. In fairness they seem to be fighting the good fight. 3 of the 4 are as tall as me ( just short of 6 ft) and I topped the 3 that I hadnt already topped.

I took a picture of the Gigabud plant that I topped on my last visit as I wanted to show my friend what topping and its effect is. It hasnt stopped it growing any taller, but my god is it bushy, this is a shot of where it was topped and you can see the side branches which are now almost level with the top of the plant.

I know its very difficult to comment without seeing proper pictures and I promise I will grow some balls for next time, but as I understand it, plants double or even triple in size in flowering. Is this to say I am going to have 12-18ft plants!? If so I might as well give up because they will probably get found.

I have no idea how Cheese is getting on at Plot 2

I have no idea if Lemon Skunk survived at another random location she was stuck in a scratched out hole in the mud back in April and has a 5% chance of still being alive.

I did check out Plot 3 which has the Two Thai Super Skunks. They are taller than me but are not showing sex however they smell decidedly chocolatey and if I get a sample of what these plants could produce in a longer summer Il be very happy.

weedineed
sound good mate yer they have a massive growth spurt when flowerin so will probably be massive fookers lol.gif why not try bending or topping? could try super cropping but dont make the same mistake as me lol.gif i rekon that that ak could of possibly even gone an extra 3weeks plus. but again easier said then done! i would me shitting myself mate with a tunnel like yours! hope they all stay safe and dude go see that lemon skunk soon i want to see how she's doing! atb

Updatey Timey!

Plot 1

Sorry but I love it so much I have to take a picture every time I go! At the end of the tunnel, the plants were looking strong, if a little "gnawed on" but nothing too drastic. The main problem this "update" has been surrounding vegetation strangling plants. You'll see what I mean. The local weeds could not keep the ladies down in Plot 1 though!
leapsure skemor
White Rhino - Somewhere around 4.5 foot, the smallest but most compact of the lot. Smells nice too

Click to view attachment Click to view attachment
leapsure skemor
Passion #1 - She had a lot of snapped side branches and is leaning over a lot as I think she was planted too close too the overhanging hedge behind. Iv trimmed it all up a bit and staked in upright again and hopefully will re-develop those side branches. 7 foot.

Plot 2

All was not well with Cheese. Underneath a mass of nettles and sticky weed, I found this sorry little bitch. (Note the lack of ground preparation for this plot earlier on in the diary, she has grown at a very slow rate) Ive dug her out and propped her up again, maybe she'l recover, maybe not. TIP #1 dig the plot as big as you can, then dig it deeper and bigger again I read somewhere when I first researched this was the main factor in growing big plants and I think the proof is in Plot 1 and 2 as a comparison

leapsure skemor
This prompted me to get off my arse and check if that little Lemon Skunk I chucked in a "scratched out with a stick" hole back in April at the same time as the rest of these had by any miracle survived, this is what I saw when I got there: -

Underneath that lot, and I dont know why I bothered to even look, was this: -

She has barely grown, but is still alive. Theres not much hope for her if she stays where she is, not really sure what to do - any ideas? I could dig her up and flower her but not sure
leapsure skemor
Plot 3

Wow I really really hope these Thai Super Skunks from "wanky" G13 Labs that are a sativa dominant variety and are not feminised produce something - the odds are against them but they are certainly having a good go. Tallest plant at 8 foot
leapsure skemor
Nice of you to pop in Marcos, I do believe I listed yourself and Magoo on my "new members" post as being the prime inspirators to my introduction to the hobby
Marcos
That Lemon Skunk is transplantable, find somewhere where the soil is more fertile and watch her flourish w00t.gif
leapsure skemor
I think I'l do that, Iv got a blue cheese and maybe a speed devil too so Il make a new Plot 4 next week. Il be able to attend them every day so I might try to force flowering for a week in the hope that they stick at it when left to their own devices. Not looking forward to the whole "plot hunting" game again though
weedineed
looking nice man real nice! them plants are massive bastards aint they! loving this grow and loving that tunnel. sorry but whta the genetic make up of giga bud its the second time ive heard about it but never seen any seeds?? looking nice and get that lemon skunk to a new plot asap shes not much smaller then mine lol.gif and mines had sun.
