these are cheese cuttings they are in a dwc kit only been n the kit a few days. any help would be great cheers.

i believe the most common cause of that effect mate is over nutrient usage.

whats your ph & cf mate? & what nutrients do you use

canna aqua a & b e.c 1.28 ph 8 i have put 1 ml of ph down my tank is 30ltrs it has dropped to 6 how do sort the nutes the bottle i got it in doesnt have the label on.

that ec is way to high for them at that age, especilly in a bubble. I would have them well below 1.0 ec. and your ph is too high as well should be about 5.5-6.0. hope this helps goodluck

how do i lower my ec from 1.38 right down to just 1. i added 5 ltrs of fresh water n it didnt do anything ive never ajusted the ec before just the ph.
i got a ec pen and its a gud job aswel i just went by the labels n wen my pen arrived i checked my nutes n realised how out they are!!

your doing the right thing, just keep adding water, or even better start with a fresh tank . canna nutes are good stuff, but quite strong. put in half what it says (check canna website for dosages) and then check the ec the next day. if the ec has gone down then it menas there're drinking more nutes than water so you can safly increase the amounts of nutes until water and nute usages are the same.

ph does flucturate in a bubbler, but getting the ec right helps with that alot.

would the over nuting eventually kill the plant or would the plant adapt and grow?

if the feed is too much then its too much and would either eventully kill the plant or siverly stunt its growth. as long as you use your ec pen correctly, and let the plants show you how much they want, you can give the plants as much food as they need throughout the entire cycle without burn. once you got that nailed it all becomes that much easier.

oh dear! i need 30ltrs of water quick i havnt got time to sit and wait for the chlorine to evaporate would you advise using tapwater and raising the temp and using treatment for the chlorine i do have some its for fish realy takes the crap out of tapwater its not bad stuff.

is there any thing i can use for the roots ive read about this 'essence' and fungi treatment for roots?

if your in the uk then just putting tap water in, if you have to, should be fine - ive done it plenty of times. not sure about water treament stuff never used it, but prob wouldnt. canna do a good line of root nutrients like rhizotonic and cannazyme, bcuzz and advanced nutrients also have good stuff. it all works but can be very pricwy

yeh ive got bio rhizotonic and a few others jst wanted sumthing jst for my hydro kit u no owt on "rootgrow" or "canna trichoderma" friendly bacteria add directly to the root zone ? cheers

could also do with finding a product tht i can put in mt tank to keep flying insects out off the pepples cheers

buy a cheap water filter from tesco under a fiver good luck they will b ok so dont worry

Hi mate, the reason the EC is increasing is usually because the temperature is too high, the EC usually drops and only when the plants are drinking more water than eating food or with evaporation does the EC increase.

Cool it down in there, you will get better results and a none stressed plants.
