Well guys i'm looking to get my self some seeds for a hash run and i figured seeds from the real seed sompany would be very good for this thumbsup.gif

The problem is that my new setup doesn't have that much height its roughly 1.7m high so sat's are very much a no no and indicas are now a must for me not that it bothers me i do like my indicas.

So anyway i'm looking to know which strains from the Real Seed Company would be best as in which ones will stay short and not stretch very much, cheers wink.gif

Leb, Sheb or Mazar i would suggest. But depends what type of hashish you want too.

Sativa's should be a yes yes in your space tbh- i work with pure sats and sativa hybrids in 4ft space, just takes lil tlc. I would love to have that extra 2&2/3 ft you have- would be very easy to work with.

Well i was thinking of maybe doing 3 strains and 3 plants of each strain so really 3 different types of hash wink.gif

I do like dark/black hash but would also like some sweet light brown hash, its just near impossible to get anything decent these days where i am and i do miss hash lol.gif

E2a:- Its also to do with flowering times to mate as my other plants are all around the 9 week flowering time and the flowering room is also the drying room so they all need to finish around the same time.

Hey evans,

I know what you mean, i dont know noone who sells hash(well when i can get it its good import(once a year,)) but nor do i know that many people that can offer me cuts, i live in bloody london and cant get the cheese cut doh.gif well the real one.

The dark and the lighter hash is the way its been made really i think- the dry sift is lighted and pushed with a press of some sort.. and the handrubbed in my view is always darker, alot tastier too. But i prefer the high of dry sift. So i normally make a mix of my own Sift+rubbed+oil.

I would order the Mazar and get the freebies- The Sheb is suppose to be exceptional, same for the Mazar but not as rich as the Sheb. The Leb i have never tried before, never had the chance, but has always been in others good books- suppose to be right up there with the indian/nepal. I would also take alook at the Indian/Neps too, maby 2 small packs of them too.. you'll have the world in youur hands thumbsup.gif

jus my 2p.

Eta: if you want earlier flowering keep looking in the direction of the Mazar + Sheb + Leb wink1.gif

Cheers sticky very helpful mate, looking forward to trying my hand at making some hash, be good to try a bit of the grass from these plants to, i doubt i'll ever have smoked anything with true genetics like these, nearly all strains these days have been crossed down the line lol.gif

E2a:- basically i'm using 1 600W light for the 9 plants for the hash making so roughly i'm expecting 450-500 grams of dry bud plus i'll have trim to, so roughly how much hash do you's think that would produce? unsure.gif

I cant seem to find sheb on the website have they ran out? unsure.gif

So far i think i'm going for 5 Lebanese, 5 Nepalese and 12 Mazar-i-Sharif and if theres sheb i'll be having 5 of them to wink.gif

E2a:- on the site it says in addition to 12 free landrace seeds they'll give 20 free Shiberghan seeds. think thats meant to be Sheberghan? unsure.gif

Are the landrace seeds just like a mix bag of everything?
namkha
Hi Evans181

Yes, the Shiberghan is the Sheberghan --- Shiberghan is the correct spelling --- you'll get 20 free, whatever you order

The 12 free landrace will be a single variety, not a mixed bag --- it will one of our top notch strains -

I would got with the Lebanese if I was you --- it should be the shortest and the fastest ---

that or the Mazar-i-Sharif

thanks

Thanks dude whats the Nepalese like?

I'll prob order in the next few days wink.gif

hi there

the Lebanese, the Mazar and the Shib will produce short plants - especially the Lebanese and the Shiberghan

here are some pics from morganna one month old Lebanese, five week old Shiberghan

Lebanese in the four initial pics

Shiberghan in the fifth pic

hi weed mates!

For me, the leb is definitly the shorter rsc strain;if you don't give her a veg period you will finish with a plant which look like an autoflowering strain .
I think it's the best for people with a low ceiling grow room.

A few pics of my rsc leb(grow straight in 12/12 h)

Hi all I lso have the same problem and hight is an issue for me also.So I have got experiance with these strains which a real short so far I can say for deffinate that these will not grow no more than 1.5ft.At the moment I'm growing Crimea Blue and these are all aroung 1foot high??.Yes 1foot lol.gif heres some pics of the CB from Barney's.

Can't help with the strain choice but I have had the same strain finish at just 36" and also at over 60". So how you treat it makes a huge difference.

Using the lucas formula encourages shorter growth but they can still stretch with weak lighting. The best way of ensuring a short plant ime is to hang the bulb naked vertical and grow the plants around it. That's what gave me the 36" finish.

this lebanese was grown straight into 12/12 by Pantagruellion

and went straight into flowering - very short

over in the Nepalese and Lebanese Indoor & Outdoor thread Matsi has been vegging his Lebanese for about one and a half months and they are staying very compact - none of them are over 40cm

the best Lebanese cultivars have always had a reputation for being very compact plants - Russell Pasha wrote that the best mountain plants were seldom more than three or four foot tall

a Lebanese grown by Matsi - staying well under 40cm and I think been in veg about one and a half months
