Hello, just wanted to ask, what is the closest strain available in seed form, to the original 'orange bud'?

I'm sure I heard on here not long back about some lovely orange bud seeds available, any got any info please!

Would people reccomend growing it?

Dunno if it helps, but Ceres Seeds do an 'Orange Bud' claimed to be based on the Cali one and so does Chimera, Calizhar I think?

Flying dutchmans royal orange is what i've been told to try if you want orange bud, i got some in veg now so awhile until i can confirm that but i'd say Agent Orange is another good one (tga), although i think the one i had a smoke of was more grapefruity than the orange bud i remember. All the nirvana oranges i had weren't very orangey at all, nice, but not orangey sad.gif

Fingers crossed the royal oranges turn up with the goods
cheesebud
ive got nirvanas cob in early veg now

I've smoked some Shiva skunk that smelt and tasted of the old calippo orange drinks from way back when. Not sure who the breeder was but electric man 2 has grown it and he said his was orangey too..maybe worth asking him where it came from ?
Electric man 2
Sensi seeds was the breeder of my shiva skunk, and yeah it smells just like orange callipo's!!!!!!!!

Its still a firm favourite in the EM2 household I have been growing it for well over two years now and its going nowhere a definite keeper

Did you ever grow it Withnail?

orange bud, dutch passion, it's the original version (they also do cali orange), and it's a fucking lovely smoke, although a bitch to grow, as they're really prone to turning lady boy at the slightest hint of stress, but if you get it right, it's well worth it, in my top 10!
