Hiya,

Doing a small project myself, and have found that for a very small space I would recommend the GH Waterfarm. Measures 30cm x 30cm x 37cm (H), and is ideal for one large plant, or even two smaller ones, or at a push about four-six seedlings!
If you shop around you can probably pick one up for about £37.50-£42.50 and then p&p on top.
I got one from Greenfields (read some bad threads about them) and one from Ponics and although they charge £8.50 for delivery, at least it is guaranteed to arrive the next day. What I usually do is make sure that what I'm orderiing is worth the delivery charge (just bought 1x20ltr Ionic Grow and 1x20ltr Bloom! Won't be needing them for a while whistling.gif ).
I've got two plants vegging in one, and three seedlings vegging in the other.
The only extras that I can think of (if you are just starting out without any previous equipment) are just the digital meters to read your solution (EC and pH), clay pebbles, rockwool, propagator, lights, and ventilation.
I know that it may sound a lot, but things like the pebbles, light, and ventilation, you will only have to purchase once.
There are some cheap ready made up kits out there but I preferred to make up my own. That way you know what you're getting.
Anyway whatever you decide, I hope the bud is good and plentiful smoke.gif .
Happy growing wink.gif

why hydro? - if you're a broke newbie, you'd be far better off going organic (compost in pots)- incredibly cheap, very forgiving, much less hassle, and unless you're a total klutz will give you results (imho hydro is for control freaks who love the gadgets!) whistling.gif
Hydro shops will give you all the spiel about how brill hydro is, but don't point out how much extra profit they make out of hydro from the mug punter! ph34r.gif
Mind Your Head
lol.gif @ farmweb ...there is nothing 'wrong' with hydro.
You're right about soil being a cheep quick way to get started though wink.gif
Just get a couple of buckets\pots fill them with good soil.
JI3 is good but not on its own and its not organic. And you will still need to feed them in flower.
Personaly I would'nt advise going 100% organic from the start. Not for your first grow anyway smoke.gif

i think coco is ideal for first time growers, if used right it has good airation and drainage, plus you can use bio-bizz or earth juice which are organic if thats what
your after, or you can use b'cuzz, hydrotops or canna if you want to aswell .... wink.gif
personally i dont like rockwool,to much tiny fibreglass particles for my liking,
and it brings my finger tips out in a rash,

what ever you choose Kryptonite,i hope you enjoy it.... wink.gif

cheers

Well Guys, Thanks alot - The help is much appreciated.
I think I will start with the organics first, Hydroponics are a bit over my head at the minute!! 1eye.gif
