Hi everyone at 420, Ive got a birthday comming up soon and being a decent mate I would like to buy my friend some seeds. The thing is Im a complete novice, well actually Im worse than that as I dont even grow but I do like a good old smoke and hav been puffing away on various types of weed for decades.
Now I have about 50 pounds max for some seeds and being a novice i wouldnt know what was great of what is just hype, so could someone or everyone (better) give us a few names to go for, also the name of the stockist as well would be great.
There are a couple of no-no's tho. Dont want anything that absolutly stinks like cheese and also its gotta be less than 8weeks of actual flowering, oh and maybe no such a tall plant either. Hope you can help, thank you vey much

Sounds like you're looking for Northern Lights, indica dominent so not too tall, an 8 week flowering period and not too bad on the smell front. Have a read through a few grow diaries as there are a few differnt seedbanks that do their own versions, take your pick from there

Try one of the auto flowering varieties like Lowryder2 by the joint doctor, they don't grow any higher than 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide for the xmas tree phenotype, should get 1oz per plant, but you will not be able to take cuttings from auto flowering plants, if you want to keep you plant alive by growing a mother plant then do not grow auto flowering because cuttings can not be taken. What is your favourite type of herb?

if i were you mate i would buy ur mate hollands hope or lowryder no.2 . hollands hope has been growing in this country for decades and in my experience with it , it has all ways worked well and is a very hardy plant . resistant to bud rot when grown outside if the temp is humid and can generally withstand alot of shite hehe ...... lowryder is a very simple and good plant to start off with . and its a FECKING brilliant smoke so well recomended..... it was my first grow.

hey man blueberry or bubblegum small bit extra but from wat ive seen in the grow diaries they get great reviews easy to grow an well worth i bought some cheap seeds then met a guy in the pub who lives down the road an he is sorting me out with some blueberry clones an its the best ive ever smoked

If you have £60.. a nice prezzie i would like would be from UGORG..sure others would agree too, you can see there's thought been put in

Yeh I would agree with that, I don't plan on spending that much on seeds but if I ever did Ugorg would be my first choice.

If he is inexperienced you can get KC Brains seeds for a tenner a pack so you can afford to get him a few of those, to offer him te variety to choose for himself and also they have a few strains that are easy to grow and recomended for newbies.

I am trying the church this year from Green House seeds. So far so good mate and its only 18 quid for 5 fem seeds, but again, feminised seeds - some say they are great, others dont.

if you get Lowryder then get #2. he will enjoy his gift a lot quicker.

If you do choose. autos for extra stealth buy normal (non fem seeds) , your mate could then pollinate a plant or part of a plant and have 100+ seeds in 8 weeks time.

yield and stone wont be as good as non auto though.

dont bother with the autos especailly lw 2 they are proper wank ive grown a few batches of them an was only impressed by the very first about 3 years ago even then it wasnt great.

the killerskunks are a good choice id have em already if they were a lil bit cheaper,
or get maybe some paradise seeds, great genetics 5 seeds for 35 quid. femmed to. cant really go wrong with some ice cream or whiteberry.
loadsa a choice but if you want some sounds advice dont get autos your mate would be more pleased with reg or femmed non autos of some proper stinky ass strain as apossed to something thats done a few weeks earlier but the smoke an yields shite.

my next choice is gonna be killing fields from sannies seeds as its got some red/purple phenos an has a petroleum smell so sounds quit interesting.
greenhouse are cheap an do some good mix pack of seeds never had any problems with em either always germed no hermies not bad for 25 quid for 5 femmed seeds, you could get him maybe 2 mixed packs for 50 quid.

I think u mate would owe u big time if u got him one of the UGORG strains, 60 biff they are like but in my opinion they'll be worth the weight in gold compared to some other similar priced strains!

like peeps are sayin the ugorg seeds are top draw if you could i would , but like you said you want a
low odour strain that dont grow too much , the hog springs to mind not to sure how much the
beanz cost but ave a lil look

mate you cant beat whitte label northern lights it very easy to grow one of the strongest smokes aswell finishes flowering in 7 weeks stays short and its feminised so he will definatley get what he is looking for i have grown loads and tried even more in the dam and nl really is one of the very best smokes so eas to grow very managable in a small space the smoke will knock the socks of any auto flowerer and wont take hardley any longer plus the seeds are just under £50
