Can the electricity company tell when electrics being used? Basically my question is, is there going to be anymore risk running lights during the night? Might seem daft but just need some reassurance.

Cheers

Get yourself on economy 7 and run it 9pm-9am. Will be very cheap then. Don't worry about electiricity at night time. Your fridge freezer is running, a lot of people use their dishwashers at night, our storage heaters charge up at night, our hot water heats up at night. Lots of people use more electric at night than day time because they're at work during the day and have all the stuff listed above running at night.

E2A: Unless your running a crazy set up you don't need to worry about electirc usage at any time of day. Its only when your talking 10-20 600w lights running at once you'd have to worry.
