Ok, I am planning on doing a bit of guerilla growing this summer, trouble is, i am going to be away for a 30 days from mid june to august sad.gif. I have scouted out a few seperate sites close to streams with good soil. I was planning on planting out some lowryder #2's and harvesting 2 ish months later in late august. Another option is planting out a few holland's hopes in the same places. Dont have the cash to do both. Which do you think would be more suited to my situation? Bearing in mind yield dosnt bother me, im not a chimney and only growing for myself!

Cheers,

Hey there chili guy,
I would recommend the Holland's hope as it is a very mould resistant plant and it can survive without too much attention,
But then on the other hand it would be interesting to see what happens to a lowryder if you were to leave it out a bit longer, possibly more dense buds
I would personally go for the Holland's hope.
BTW when are you going to start this grow of yours? you should start ASAP if you choose the Holland's hope as it already a bit late to plant a normal plant, but if you choose the Lowryder then it gives you more the opportunity to plant later so you don't have to miss so much of its growth.

Hope you manage to solve your problem.

Hollands Hope mate, the Lowryders are prone to mould and can turn to a grey mass within 48 hours if left unattended.
Bad Penny.
Never grown HH,did try lowryder when it first came out and everyone raved about it as a guerilla growers dream,I also raved when it turned to mush and I wasted my cash unsure.gif Wouldnt do it again, once bitten and all that,do a "proper" plant like HH wink.gif

Thanks for the responces! Seems like HH is the one, what about HH in comparision with Early girl? If I do plant the HH plants prety late, will i still get some buds despite the plant not being able to grow to a large size? Im not looking for loads, it's just a bit of fun!

It will start the flower at round about the same time no matter when you plant it, due to the light. So theres only a set amount of veg time, less veg time = less bud, you will difinatly get some bud, just less due to less veg time.

I saw a clone somewhere on this site which was just a little cutting that had been under 12/12 light and had about an 1/8th of bud on it, shows its possible no matter what the size.

Sorry if im ranting at that doesnt make sence rofl.gif
