No worries namkha...this thread have derailed so many times anyway lol.gif

It would be a crime against nature to let these lines go namkha....its you duty to keep going w00t.gif smile.gif

My apologies as well for the derailment!

I wanted to commend you on your diligence in posting the info on your grows Matsi!Very informative and inspiring! And yes,we need to do all we can to keep this valuable resource.

Olivier
Someone on another board asked about original landraces, obviously TRSC was my reccomendation.
Matsi: Can you describe (or show) what the phenotypes look like? I have 2 @ 4 weeks flower at the moment. One is quite sativa looking with thin finger like leaves and another with broader keaves that look like your pheno 1. Not sure my pics will show the difference...
Olivier
The broader leaf pheno..

Hi Slim...

Sure mate, I hear you - I should probably start a new thread for this at some point, instead of derailing Matsi's grow

but the key point about making clones and seeds is still relevant here, if people are serious about conservation

collecting and distirbuting first generation heirlooms can never be a permanent biz

I went in to this with an aim to do this for say a decade or so, and get a book written while I do it

but I've got the banks on the one side, and the breadheads of the UK and European "cannabis community" on the other...

need I say more?

Nope. But consider this Breeding List

My point Namkha is these guys are making fashionable names from your basics.

I respect what you're doing and also think you should be as commercialy intensive as you are thorough in your quest for preservation.
Who said you cant do both?
namkha
Hi Olivier

I hear you, but in effect the UK banks say we can't do both, in so far as they won't provide any business which sells cannabis seeds with a merchant account, which is what you need if you want to take card payments online

without being able to take card, the volume of sales we take is cut by about 90% - 95%

if you type "offshore merchant account" into google you will see that this effectively exiles RSC to the online land of dodgy pharmacies, online casinos, and nasty porn

fancy having all your business's money going via some faceless Russian bank with arbitrary $10,000 pay out limits etc. and not being sure if you will ever see a penny of it?

this is what RSC is up against now --- being able to take card is totally essential if you want to make any money online - there are a million dodgy businesses out there which will offer you "online payment solutions" --- the issue is finding one which will not walk off with all your money etc.

so until that time, not many people outside the Mount Lebanon Range will be growing the likes of this Lebanese Pheno No. 1... (this might read like a moan, but I'm not complaining - this is just where it's at right now)

I do understand. I had the same problems with getting a merchant account when I ran a website selling satellite hacking gear ph34r.gif
Paypal was the only way...
I'm gonna have to obtain the rest of your genetic lineup asap.. Cracking 5 Lao as we speak wink1.gif

yeah, the two stretchy nepali I had, had no preflowers, I doubt they would finish here as well, the shorter indica one already has a few pistils.

I think they will start to flower in October, perhaps earlier????They look great as an ornamental in your garden biggrin.gif Is it not possible to make cuttings to look inside the preflowering stage and cross it with Oldfarmer Nepal or Danish Gold???Just a suggestion!!! biggrin.gif
