A quick question:
I have just received an order for Bio Silicon and Boost, which I aim to start using in my next wave of plants.

I assume I'm right to understand that I use the boost up to "first signs of flowers", and then start on with the Bio-Silicon?

Or should the Bio Silicon be used alongside the Boost?

when i first ordered essence and boost etc Webby told me not to use boost in conjunction with any other nutes as it was such strong concentrate.
I just used it for a leaf drench with brewed essence and a bit of seaweed extract.
thats not very helpful tho is it

I am at 3 weeks veg, I started using the Bio-Silicon 5 days ago and plan to start the boost in the next watering.
The BS seems to be an excellent product, combined with the Bio-Wetter, my plants are thriving

The best I have seen them at this stage.
e2- reiterate how great I think it is.

I wouldn't mind a recipe for using the Plant Magic products together. Granules and Essence is great stuff, so I'm sure other people than me would appreciate some advice on when to use the other products and how much of it. Not necessarily a recipe set in stone, but rather a few simple pointers.I know Ot1 has given some advice on the products in this forum, but still some easily available instructions and "feeding programme" would be nice. I think Boost sounds kind of scary with it's
increased cation exchange capacity and increased nutrient absorption, and I'm too spooked to use it myself

Here are some pointers should anyone be interested...
Boost: DO NOT add any other nutes in with the watering can when applying. Doing so will cause nute burn due to the vastly improved cation exchange capacity i.e. the humates will force the plant to uptake the mineral salts within the nutes causing the tips to burn.
Also, DO NOT use more than 10 days apart, this is pretty potent stuff and can easily be overdone
Don't mean to scare you btw It is absolutely wonderful stuff.
You use up till you see the first signs of flowers. It is worth mentioning that boost can be used up til a longer period but caution would have to be made due to enhancing nute uptake. Just bare in mind that the Biosilicon has humates blended in with it.
The biosilicon can be used right the way through. Gives excellent germination rates with seeds too when dilluted @ the rate of 0.5ml to 1.5L - 2L water.
Biosilicon does contain humate, so again, some caution would have to be made like start cutting it down from say watering once a week then once every 10 days, then to once fortnightly, that sorta thing I have heard from many outlets that alot of their customers use it every other watering all the way through and have found they're up on yield and report a better structure. But to find your feet go minimal and as you get more confident start experimenting
I will get a grow schedule knocked up over the next coupla weeks. We are a bit silly busy atm getting our Nutrient range sorted. All batches are now pretty much made, just finalising the labels, then it is off to the printers and hoping for release within the next 3 - 4 weeks. We are constantly working to supply the demand, we have found that alot of shops prefer nutrients and growing mediums rather than plant probiotics, but we are hoping to be able to supply to you guys the entire range i.e. compost that thrives as a habitat for beneficial fungi and bacteria, UK manufactured nutrients made specifically for our water supplies so less ph down is required (for you hydro and coco growers out their), we also have a soil feed (NOT organic, the organic version is currently being trialled) which contains magnesium and calcium. I will make an announcement as soon as we are ready.

I gave my Mum plants a first blast of "Boost" a few days ago. To say they look perky, would be to put it mildly. They clearly loved the stuff. I have a tray of rooted clones to pot up in a few days, can't wait to see their response to Granules and Boost.
Look forward to your new arrivals, it all sounds bloomin' promising - Good stuff
