Hi again guys, i'm looking to start a micro-grow in my room, but the problem is i think the space that i've got might be a little too small;
so can any of you guys tell me if you think it'll be possible to grow 1 or 2 plants in this space? HXDXW 19"x18"x14.5" (" inches)
and if you think it is possible how many cfl's should i be looking to use? im thinking if i do grow in here then i should probably use autoflowers because i dont think normal strains would like the space

That's pretty tight buddy...You might just get away with one very small plant if you pin it down well and flower it straight away...If you could add 6-8 inches to the height it would help a lot.

nah, im stuck with that space until i move out
i've looked into growing outdoors but theres no chance of that happening 'cos i left it late now, so its this space or nothing

i'm sure even some AF varieties would do better starting them now than before, more light etc and no need for season change! plant one then wait 2-3 weeks then plant another....repeat!

nah outdoor is out of the question chaps, aint got enough time to wander to me spot and water 'erb, plus i've gotta find a perfect spot which will be fucking hard around here so yeah, its either this little space or nothing

i managed a grow in a single foot of height, i have done a couple of times, trick is not use too big a pot top em and tie the branches down to the pot, when one reaches up tie it down again or bend under another branch, some times its good to put a cpl of garden canes across the pot ( fixed to it some how) then you can grow it in which direction you want. mine was just an experiment but i used 4 2ft 18W fluro tubes from start to finish. dont expect huge buds though.
but it can be done
good luck

reckon it'll be worth the hard work?
and what sort of (and how many) bulbs should i be using for this? and how far should i keep them away?

And how do you stop the smell cos all cannabis stinks
You have more chance being busted with a tiny grow and no proper filter than a huge grow with
Just summat to think about maybe, and for what, a couple of gram
Imo, a waste of time considering everything

trouble with micro grows is there is never enough bud for all that time spent but its good introduction to what a plant will take and how much it'll bend etc.
keep the fluro's close as ya can, bout an inch away . it has to be said that training is the key here , you want ur canopy as level as you can by training so they r all the same distance from the light .
like i said it can be done but its much better if you can sort a bigger space, the rewards are more
hope this helps

Owd, was gonna cut some holes in the side of the cabinet and put some of those carbon cooker hood sheets over it, then see how it fairs
how many fluros? shall i just grab a few cheap cfl's from t' shop?

i'd say your gonna be pissed when you struggle through for what eventually wont be a great deal of weed matey... if your growing in such a small space due to not wanting other people in the house knowing... i would consider waiting till you get more room. why take the risk and be struggling from the start?? bloody shame for you mate, i hope one way or another you can get things growing, whatever you choose.....

Can't you just build a bud box, and stick in the loft/spare room/shed etc.
It hardly seems worth the effort/electric/expense for what you'll get out of it.
