I'm doing this for me and i'm sure a few others,

for outdoor growing.. what strains are the best??

this year i just can't deiced, can anybody pleas recommend some decent strains that they have had experience with outdoors,

which to go for and which to avoid?

cheers

Yeah I need some advice on strains too, I know its leaving it a little late but I will be looking to crack em towards end of next week and just dunno what to go for, I cant seem to make my mind up.

I have looked at Serious Seeds AK-47 and Bubblegum as I would love to grow both these, but I have a feeling they are not too grat for outdoor, though there flowering time looks about right.

From Soma Seeds I have looked at Lavender, supposed to be better outdoors but then Ive never tried so dont know.

From Big Buddha I would like to try the Cheese or Blue Cheese.

Lastly was looking at Kiwi Seeds 2 Pounder as is meant to be quite resistant strain, from what I understand nobody has yet tried this outdoors, but there is atleast someone having a go this year.

To be honest I am thinking of ording some or all of these and having a go, but if anyone has experience of growing them would be really good to know how they got on. I am especially interested in what people think of AK-47 and Bubblegum, Im not sure how they would go but would probably like to try them the most. oh and then smoke them spliff.gif

Sounds good man, will have to check em out, oh and KC mango also looks good, also cheap. I think a certain seed order company do a free 10seed pack of KC when you spend over £25.
Oh and cheers Bish will be spending some time browsing through the link.

What do peeps think of AK-47 and Bubblegum, yay or nay, or maybe??

Sorry to Hijack, rude of me!

Hey ganja hobbit, assuming you are growing in the uk, i would recommend fast bloomers, therefore more indica type. People tend to recommend, passion 1. But i've grown top 44 very well in austria (moderate climate like uk). Top 44 (skunk) had lots of nice buds and finished early october - very easy plant to grow. I've grown Purple Widow (de shamman) last year here in the uk and thought i did the job just fine. Easy plant to maintain, cheap, fast finisher, 50/50 purple pheno and good yielder even with last years weather.

Cheers,

You could do a lot worse than Biddy Early from Magus... It performs very well in UK outdoors imo. I am a bit of a broken record with this one.

Ive got bubblegum clones being planted out at random places every few days at the mo stoned.gif im doing it just for fun and expecting none of them to finish though, serious seeds range are too expensive for your needs imo mate, buy something thats supposed to go outside they seem to be proced around £20 for 10.

Yeah I wasnt planning on doing a whole pack of bubblegum, would just love to plant like half and hopefully get some ladies. If you planting them you must have some hope! I would also have some more resistant strains on the go too, would cheese be a safe bett?? Ive never grown it, let alone outdoors??
Bad Penny.
Loads of plants will reach maturation in the UK,its just trial and error wink.gif

I know someone who has grown original cheese outdoors in UK, but not guerilla style.. it was in his back yard... and I think he forced it to start flowering early...

Yeah man, whats that in the photo?? Looks fookin sweet!

It is gonna be a geurilla grow but then again I can visit it quite easily whenever I want. Obviously I cant bring them inside earlier to force them to flower, but I can easily keep an eye on them and look after them.

That pic was a durban cross mate, but people are usually more impressed with these, affie crosses.

!!!! Bloody hell mate, good job. Thats allot of green!!! Loving the hood ph34r.gif .

Like you say Im gonna experiment with a few, its supposedly gonna be a good hot summer but that could all be a load of bull. Its good to know what strains people have had success with.

I think my plot should be good, had a look today and its now surrounded by a pooh.gif load of nettles, there pretty vast and are only going to get taller. My only regret is that I didnt dig more up.

Cant seem to find anyone whos grown AK47 outdoors, and people have said its prone to budrott so I dunno if its just a waste of money.

I think Im just gonna have to bite the bullet, get whatever seeds I get and see how they grow.

Im thinking

-Purple no.1 and/or Passion no.1
-BB Cheese
-Bubblegum and or AK47
-Lavender would have been cool but even more ££
-Was thinking 2 pounder but dunno

The list isnt getting shorter, may buy 1 or 2 packs and do a little bit of pic n mix.

Biddy early looks so lovely, does it need much attention or anything for a successful crop in uk?
