hey people,

anyone know what this is ? ive just moved house and this morning was the first time i went into the shed
i found this xpelair thing, looks like a fan controller to me

anyone know if this will be usable ?

Definately looks like a fan speed controller, sure someone else will be able to shed a little light on it (sorry for pun)
Looks like it should be sturdy enough to work, why not try it out?

yeah i would try it out mud but iwouldnt know where to start unsure.gif

yep its a speed controller which is normally hard wired and used with an inline 110mm fan , unless you have a fan thats over kill then its not alot of use in grows , much better is a temp controlled speed controller , they allow the fan to tick over with low revs when temps drop but speed up if temps rise only slowing once it cools down again

yeah, or for about 90 quid less you can buy a thermostat
