Hey there all you people in the know!

Myself - Long time weed smoker from deep in the southern hemisphere, working full-time at a reasonably menial job, from one payday to the next. I've been growing more and more frustrated at having to fork out so much of my hard earned cash for the ganja (it's just a plant ffs!), and decided to invest some money into a growing setup. While I was cranking up my first plant I scoured the internet for info, and I have been viewing this site for about a month. Just finished my first grow, it was pretty small, just a single silver pearl flowered for 7 weeks. I got just over 2 oz of nice skanky bud though!

My setup - So far I have 2 600W HPS, plus intake fan (cut a bloody big hole in the floor!), and extractor fan. I have a heater with thermostat switch so if the temp gets below 18 Celcius it cranks itself up. Oh also I have a tower fan for air circulation. I plan to make a vegging chamber in the same room (it's quite a big one, probably 8X10X12 feet), and add a carbon filter and ozone genny if required.
The stench from just one plant was pretty intense with no smell control, so I will be getting a carbon filter asap.

Yeah Saldo you are right, it is a DAMN good hobby and I am totally hooked!
I cant believe all those years paying top dollar for weed, when now it's all free! *insert evil laugh*
