Well ok fellas i came into the possession of ALOT of growing equipment lately.. long time smoker, first time grower and a mate was ermm "going away" for abit and wanted to offload his equipment.

So basically as far as i can see i have got

3 XXL Bud Box Tents
4 600W Sodium Lights w/ reflectors
1 250w Envirolite
2 Carbon Filters
4 Air pumps
1,395 plant pots (random number but i ended up with 8 bin bags full of them lol.gif)

I've also got hold of some AK48 seeds, which i have germinated and am starting to get a few seedlings.
only got the 1 tent set up for now and my plan is to basically get 1 or 2 strong mothers going and then clone.

will document and update as i go and any advice or help is very well received, wish me luck fellas.
i've included a few photos of my current setup, i've got loadss of equipment left over, so any advice will be good.

Sweet! What a haul!!!

Looks like you're off and raring to go.

I'd just leave it to the one Budbox right now. Setup another as a flower chamber if you want to keep things going. You should be able to provide a lot of weed with one box.

e2a: I always prefer my ballast on the outside of the tent. That way, it is not subject to the different enviroment inside the tent, with heightened humidity perhaps and heat also.

thanks fellas

i need to move the ballast out today since its not been used by the enviro so i can put it to one side until i swap over to the 600w HPS for flowering...

i was going to purchase some canna terra nutres or would you guys suggest going organic?

would you guys leave both the intake and exhaust fan running during the dark period?

once again thanks for the welcome and advice fellas.
Bad Penny.
Looks interesting mouse, particularly with 4X600's,I will pop in now and again wink.gif

i'm a little bit worried about having all 4 of them 600w's going at once tbh.

apparently these BudBox's at quite good at keeping the eye in the sky away is that right?

I use tents also m8 & id never have a ballast inside a tent, ballasts get hot man, why cant you put it outside the tent & run the cable thru the hole??? dont mean to be dissing you just trying to help you be safe man & for that matter get your fan out the tent & just run the ducting thru, will give ya more space m8 smile.gif

Thanks a lot fellas I'm gonna move all the stuff around in the morning as I've just put the babies to bed (18-6hrs.)

I've left a small little clip on fan blowing across them during the dark period, since it seems to get really cold if i leave
the big boys running during the night. (again advise would be great.)

I've got them under the Envirolite for now (its only a 125w blue i discovered today.) which seems to be fine for these seedlings since a few have popped through the soil and i allowed the seeds to germinate a good long route before i planted, seems to be going well. Although its not as warm in there as other crops i have visited...no nutrients at the moment, trying to decide between organic and chemical. (prefer yield mostly since i don't wanna have to buy weed lol.gif.)

my local hydro dude recommended Canna products, although he would do, they where the most expensive he had in stock...he also recommended using BOTH the Envirolite and the HPS once the plants have come on bit as this will give them both blue and red light spectrums??? since i was mega high of some BC, i just smiled, nodded and agreed...but was he right?

i sound like a serious uber n00b, but hey ask me to repair permissions or fix some messed up .plists on your Mac and am your man lol.gif but i seem to have found a great community here...

I'll take a few more pic's tomorrow when I've moved stuff around so you fellas can see if I'd made any improvement.

OK I've done a stupid thing, i had a few seeds that hadn't really germinated properly so i just threw them in a pot together...

i was high, and i thought i could possibly get some x breed super duper super plant...and ermmm now i've got 4 plants in one small pot, will attach a photo later.

if these all turn out female, can i just transplant the four of them into a bigger pot and let them grow together.

alternatively if these males and females can i just let this grow as a seed factory on its own?

The 4 in one are small enough that if you are gentle and nice, you can pop the soil from the pot, and gently separate the soil and the seedlings. Replant with extra water to resettle them. Depends on the strain, you could have the shoot root, and only a few smaller roots tangled, or you could have the shoot roots and a web of smaller roots. You can carefully separate them.
Now, if you do not want to separate them then allow them to grow our and kill the weaker and allow the stronger of the seedlings to live.

Didnt get a chance to see your setup... when you get around to it, repost the pix.

will add some new pics today since i plan on cleaning up a lil in there and moving some stuff around, they should be AK48, i had a pack of 10 AK48's and a bag of mixed Indica seeds.

now since my most knowledgeable mate is currently on holiday paid for by her majesty for 6months, gonna be quite hard for me to ask him about them but to my knowledge he only ever grew Cheese and AK48. So its a high chance that these are gonna be either Cheese or AK48. (i hope its cheese since its my favorite weed.)

new pics around lunch time. GMT

ok moved things around a lil and i've managed (hopefully successfully..) to seperate them little buggers.

also moved the ballast the box aswell since the enviro doesnt need it so i can hook it up when i switch over to the HPS for flowering...

improvement?

haven't gotten round to removing the fan and just having the ducting fed in, but since i will only be using this tent as a nursery in the long run, i plan on setting up the other tent for flowering. Then i dont think i need the extra space.

I'll probably remove it over the weekend however...

i've got a few more that have popped through today, and i plan on progressively moving them over to the other tent for flowering and i have a nice dry, dark cupboard for drying out so i should be able to get myself at least a couple of oz of bud every 8-9 weeks..which is my only real intention to become totally self sufficient.

tired of dealing with shady characters just to get some bud man.. :-(
