A friend has a packet of 10 "Shiva Shanti 2" they were bought in Amsterdam and maybe they are 3 years old.

1) Will they still germinate?
2) How tall are they or can I cut the growing tip off early to encourage bushing?
3) Are they easy for a first time grow?
4) will I get a good crop from them?

Should be fine to germinate after 3 years.......altho i think they are a sensi seeds strain which some people think have a very poor germ rate. I've never grown their stuff TBH. But if they germ you should get some nice smoke off em.


and yes, you can top them to make bushes. Check out threads on LST'ing and pruning technique. You'll soon get it.

i've never had any germinating problems with sensi seeds. in the past, i grew probably about 10 different sensi strains, maybe about the same number of white label strains. rare to have any seeds not sprouting. always just placed straight into seedling and cutting compost, with about 50% perlite, just in case the compost was a bit strong

I had a pack of em before and there were a few that didn't germ but they were only a tenner anyway. Had 3 nice females in the end, on in particular was fantastic but i didn't take a cut

The one i got at the mo is nice, she is unlike the other two as this one hardly stretches at all. I topped her out quite a bit last time i grew her and it worked out very well. She pulled just over 4oz from a 11ltr pot. She's not as smelly/tasty as my favourite one from the pack but she is certainly extremely potent.She goes for about 10 weeks and doesn't like too much feed, i grew using biobizz nutes and burnt her a touch the first time i flowered her out (as you can see in the piccy)

I grew it for 4 years in the early 90's.
The pheno i kept was a 7 week bloomer, fucking covered with resin and it white'ed out loads of people. Really put you on ya arse afgan strain .
