SmellyBerry by Oldtimer1

Type: Sativa/Indica Hybrid
Parentage: Blues x Original Blueberry
Harvest Indoors: 7 – 8 weeks after starting 12/12 light-cycle
Harvest Outdoors: End of September – beginning/mid October
Cerebral Hit: A mellowing, calming cerebral hitter, with no trace of a paranoid edge to it. The mind is opened to a stimulated imagination and a large smile follows.
Physical Hit: A feeling of bodily relaxation and lightness, a cannabinoid massage of the highest order.
Medicinal Value: “SmellyBerry” has been, for some folks, a good strain to relax stiff muscles, and even to deal with spasms. As an adjunct to painkillers, it is very useful and may even have full on analgesic properties for certain kinds of pain. The Blueberry parent has given a light, energising effect without any edges; as a result the strain maybe excellent for those with mental health issues.
Smell:Dense, strong and hashy, with some seriously strong fruit overtones. Extremely aromatic, Carbon filters an absolute essential requirement!
Bud Appearance: The buds and colas on SmellyBerry are extremely dense and the colas are awash with massive, hefty stacked calyxes. The resin production is extreme and coats the buds in a solid layer of THC. The leaves and buds may turn red-blue with lower temps.
Taste: Fruity Blueberry taste, very pleasing, very moreish!
Yield Indoors: Excellent, especially when given good veg time.
Yield outdoors: Dependant on climate and seasonal variations; but expect excellent yields.

Available online now at UGORG.COM-Limited initial release.

Good question.. is it just more of a complex sativa high compared to the KS(have heard the Killers are balanced) and a right stinker as arnold mentioned and in description? .. would love to know more. Them cylax's are huuuge! Bowtiful budshot VRG. Great work Oldtimers!

Thats right Tightbud.

Smellyberry is Blues x Original Blueberry. Killer skunk was Blues x (BluesxOrg. BlueBerry).. Backcrossed the Blues.

Sticky!

Eta: i take it in the Smellyberry you will find more variation in the Blues & Blueberry pheno's. The Killer has more Blues genetics in its linage, so more stable Blues lines with a fruity twist should be found... Not that i know yet as none of mine are done..

Hey Arbs, hows it going.

No the Lot5 father was lost i think. Really sad really, i missed out on that. Oldtimers is the bollox, havent tried Smile; KS is vegging, heard its exceptional.. and this SmellyBerry sounds lovely, but i think i'll be missing this one, aint got the money nor space. And wont be long till they gone. Surely will be some keepers in the KS anyways.

Hi mate, Arnold_Layne has wrote the descriptions for both the KillerSkunk and SmellyBerry for me.
He is a very experienced smoker lol.gif and im pleased with what he's put down, he's described them both far better than I could.

The first ever KS packs were printed with blues x (bluesxOrgBlueberry) There's a pic here! ORGBlueberry as in UGORGBlueberry. wink1.gif
I have referred to it as Original Blueberry but, you can currently buy a strain called that (along with true blueberry) and its not what we used so to save any confusion it is now just Blueberry. Nothing has changed, dont worry tongue.gif

Hiya VRG.

Is there defo gonna be a full release after summer?
Smellyberry sounds just what I'm looking for. I would not be cracking any til autumn though, read the diary.

If there's only 9 packs for testing maybe somene who would grow them straight away would be a better home for demo purposes.

If that's all there is, full stop, yes please, save me a pack, I'll arrange payment.
Otherwise, I will wait and allow someone to showcase the new strain.

Cheers mentiras.
Halfatree
Sounds very nice... I'll have to wait for the re-release later in the year to get some, as the money is very tight atm..

Look forward to seeing the results though.. smile.gif

If folks want to see the SmellyBerry in action, look at my "Killer skunk in Narnia" grow (link in sig "this-a-way!"). The stacked calyx phenotype in there (look for posts around February 2009 for pics) - that's Smelly Berry. At the time, I just labelled it as KS2. But in reality it is the Smelly one wink1.gif
Gorgeous!
Absolutely fuckin' gorgeous.
I've still got one in flower now, day 47-ish. Will try and get more pics up over the weekend for folks, but be patient, its right at the back of the drobe and I am a bit knackered right now so bending etc aint so easy lol.gif oldtoker.gif

When I first grew her, I decided not to keep the mum due to her yielding less than the KS1. sad.gif Big mistake! sad.gif
I have her in flower now and she's the top yielder almost! Why? wink1.gif Down to vegging time, and not letting her get overcrowded. The Smelly Berry likes to get a good set of roots on her and some decent above ground growth pre 12/12. As she stretches very little, this is no problem. But in a mixed room like mine, she can get dwarfed and that is what happened to mine last time. This time she went in well taller than everyone else, and with some heavy topping resulting in 5 main stems, all fully unshaded and in the light. All have developed long, dense, fat, crystal-crusted colas.
The smell is extraordinary. So strong and hashy/fruity/musky at the moment. The aromatics of promise, dribblesome.

What is the problem tightbud?

Dont rock the boat, well personally if id received over 30 seeds free of charge (£180 worth) as a gesture of friendship I wouldn't even dream of it.

But thats me, this is you...and you've obviously got something to get off your chest?

Shit, I got a couple of free seeds due to a small muck up and I am well chuffed, a very genuine and honorable operation I would say.

Only a few weeks and i'll be droppin' 'em in compost... can't wait.

Who cares how long it took to get VRG this far, anyways? All I know is, it does what it says on the tin.
Just completed a two stage harvest. Took two branches at day 49/50, then the rest today which is day 56/57.
The stench is indescribable in its intensity, it makes my eyes run with tears when manicuring the solid rock-like buds that cluster up and down each and every stem. My scissors need de-hashing twice; and if I put fingertips together they remained stuck, coated in sticky, stinking resin. Its taken an age to get my hands clean. At one point I touched my beard and as I moved my hand away it ripped out a wee batch of hairs that were stuck onto my finger ... ouch! pinch.gif

I'd just finished when there was a knock at the door.
Decorators, come to paint house walls (outside) and wanting to start on the front door.
I brewing coffee and burning toast at the moment. lol.gif Good job I don't scare easy lol.gif

Have sampled wee buds from the first wave of croppage.
Blimey!
Its fekkin' strong stuff eek.gif

There were four main stems in total. I estimate around 1.75 - 2.00 Ounces when dried, and I'm usually fairly much on target when it comes to estimating weights. I'll publish the final yield here (give me a nudge in three weeks if I've not said anything).
It's a hell of a stinky one, is this lol.gif
Certainly gets A PFNC Seal of Approval! Excellent for grannies and grandpa's having tea at four and twenty past, or youngsters flunking out of lectures, or anyone wanting to get well and truly wrecked yes.gif
