Nice to see em mate, you can be sure no aphids is gonna be munchin your plants, wish I had a few handy myself, did you consider building a home for them to hide in overnight?

Never seen so many greenfly on my river growsite, literally hundreds of the buggers all hiding under Sycamore tree leaves, trouble is I end up with a mouthfull of em every time I disturb a leaf going to my site bad.gif

Cool tunes btw, enjoyed the linky yahoo.gif

let down again magoo this year i had 12 plants ready to go out i couldent dig and keep an eye out at the same time all the plants were root bound so i would have had one hell of a head start by the end of april all in 2 litre pots 10 died i put two out but havent been back to check on them plus i had to carry 50 litres of compost 3 miles to my spot on my own if they are stll alive i will send a few photos in when i go to check on them. well done again this year buddy i can see the plants look a tidy size but its hard to judge when you are not standing at the side of them. next year i am going to give you a challenge but only with one plant otherwise i know you will win hands down to see who can grow the biggest plant dont know if any of the other guys on here would be up for the challenge just for a bit of fun. good luck mate cracking grow again this year look forward to seeing your final results ferret.

I would join in but with my sunny climate I would probably be deemed to have an unfair advantage. So will just cheer you on from the sidelines. Good luck, guys.

Hey MR CFL yinyang.gif

I go from an 15cm square pot (3.5 litre) into the ground, I dig about 2/3ft in depth in a 2ft x 2ft square, plonk a whole 50L bag of post in and mix in with soil I dug out mix in some high N Guano and leave them for about a month before feeding guitar.gif

I plan on staggering the harvest, the durbans are showing plenty of fanny hairs, more so than the Oranges, so I'll hopefully have the durbans down before any of the others guitar.gif

aahhh smoke.gif still a job and a half though! im suprised at how early mine have started zig zagging , a blessing though as any more veg growth and the flowering stretch would have them peering over at the neighbours lol.gif

Ive just compared your monster this year with your monster last year and this years looks even better! Deffo taller (you had to take the picture from further away to fit it all on) and wider with more branches. Truelly a beautiful specimen.

Many failed attempts in my teens, I grew a few in my garden in the U.S. (nothing to right home about) But I learn't one thing off this Mexican chap down the road and thats flowering ain't to important, it's the first month in the ground that determines your outcome, he used guano and seaweed to prep his plots and his plants all turned out to be fukin massive.

So I thought 50L of prime post would do the same and it certainly does (loads of food) makes them explode, saying that the ground you want has to have good drainage and be fertile in itself.
