No mate, the latest I left it is the 3rd week in June (see my last diary), theoretically speaking you could plant out as late as the end of July, that'll give your plants a good few weeks of vegging before they turn to flower-power mode.

stupid question but what is an auto and how do they work?

Auto is Autoflowering, which means that the photo period does not need to change in order for them to sex and start flowering. Because of this, people who grow autos use 18/6 throughout, some growers even use 20/4 and 24/0

Autos are normally smaller, yield less, and do not have as much THC content, however, advances with autoflowering strains mean that they are becoming more and more popular.

Get some decent strains and they should cope tbh, I've had 3 week old seedlings out there from mid feb (it was an emergency), and although 1 died, it was the weaker one in the first place. The other 2 survived frost pretty well, and are handling any temps thrown at them now. If you're at all worried about temp in your area, chuck em on your windowsill for the first 2 weeks from seed. They'll be fine after that wherever you are.
