alwight guys!!
This is my second grow.. my first being a couple of years ago using the Homebox grow tent, i grew the original lowryder and a feminised shaman. Unfortunatly due to moving house i couldnt finish the shaman but got OK results from the Lowryders. I used flourecent lights for that grow. This time round i cant use the homebox coz of who im living with, but ive been sneaky and have a couple of plants on the grow on my windowsil. Not sure what the strain is- they were given to me at about 2 weeks old. My question is, will the natural light be enough? They are about 11" tall at the moment and looking nice and green but im worried about this cloudy weather. Will it be OK? Im not expecting a huge yield but a fair amount would be nice for my efforts. Im repotting them today and will try and get some pics up asap.

Assuming you mean the inside window sill, then yes, the natural sunlight will do. What are your options - throw them away? No you cant do that, so leave em on the sill and fingers crossed.
The glass will magnify the natural sunlight, so you're already getting more than if they were outside. Just make sure you turn them periodically, so all parts of the plants get a fair share of light. Don't forget good nutes too!
Shame about yer shaman, I love that weed, you'd have loved it too!

I dont think a windowsil will be enough for a full grow... there will only be a few hours of direct lught per day, due to your house blocking out most of it during the day.

ahhh but my windows are south facing and get sun from like 7 am till 6-7 at night just lean towards the light a bit but turn them as they do. grow inside for a while and then put out side for last 2 months ?

you could do a full grow on your windowsil but due to the plant not having direct sunlight all day you will just end up with small buds

Personally i'd just wait untill they are a couple days (maybe a week) old, stick them in a propigator and let them grow in the full sunlight. But thats only me and i'm no expert.

Will it get 12 hrs of darkness? What about the smell too.
Probably better off taking it outside somewhere safe if you can find somewhere.

ahhh good idea mate! was thinking about repotting them into actual plant pots tho... i wanna be able to move them around to chase the sun in my garden, its well hard to move them in the tyre... especially since its my mums garden im growing them in and when she has family coming down she doesnt want them to know her sons a weed growing hobo.
