Hello everyone im Jamie. Just wondering about my funky plant, she is on a 18/6 light cycle, its fine and healthy (now anyway after being rescued from the greenhouse). Towards the end of the cycle the leaves begin to droop slightly but by morning they are back up and perky? any ideas what this is? I am using a 250watt Na lamp about foot and half or two from top of plant. I keep a close eye on pH, any bugs what so ever, how much water is required and when (with the apprporiate nutrients carefully mixed to correct strengths. I let the soil air about twice a week to let the roots air by letting it dry slightly. She is in a clay pot 1' diameter by 1 1/2' tall. Any reassurance would be appreciated guys and girls. Photos soon to get a clearer piccy and of my very first attempt in greenhouse on some old school weed!!!!!!!!!! now drying!

Hi,
Welcome aboard this great site.
Sounds to me like your doing everything right but I'm not one of the experts. I wonder if the leves could be drooping at the end of the cycle due to heat stress? Have you been monitoring temps?
Good Luck

Cheers for the response chaps, I havent monitored the temps yet but i am under the assumption that its room temp cos its in my bedroom (21 degrees celcius). She is positioned about 1 1/2 foot from the light above.

I will b a lot hotter than room temp directly under that lamp. Do you have a fan blowing on it?

Oh sorry i forgot that she grew in a green house towards the end of summer, then it started getting dark after two months , she streched to get light and had white blobs on leaves and green fly (which i hand picked every one off)it took forever checking it all. Took her in my arms and rushed her to my hospital, under light she got proper nutrients instead of miracle grow tomato feed. She was about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 foot high. plucked the dodgy leaves, few a day not to stress her too much. She has now had lots of new growth and not a dodgy leaf or green fly in sight. and now she must be about 3 to 3 1/2 months old. and i am gonna flower her soon because of the daylight hours when she was outside she was already starting it, but when i put her inside on 18/6hours she is v.slowly flowering still and i am feeding her a veging solution at the mo which will change to flower solution soon.
Your light wants to me no more than 12 inches away bud

No fan at the mo but she is about 3-4 feet from a window that is always open behind curtains oh and she was about 10-12 inches from the top of the plant!
