Went down one of my favourite estuaries yesterday with a mate ,a bag of bud, a couple of beers and a bucket of peelers...

Beutiful day, beautiful place, good company, and managed me first bass of the year...

Caught another one later but well undersized so released it....

Hoping this will be a good year....

Don't do fishing, but the sub attracted me, Is this to do with fish so fresh, jailbait actually, and the air, so clean and vibrant, then the fridge breaks youv'e got Bud so non the Wiser, and the Artellos goes above, well, fridge temprature, So whos this dish just truned up, glexing her rod, Hedi? Yes, just broke....

it's a really good bass estuary....have had a few down there in previous years, nut admittedly nevr this early in the year....On a mission to catch a 3lb+ one down there this year, a mate has ahad a 12lber there in the past, and knows of a 9lber last year...

Dawn or dusk are the times, and in a month or so there will be huge shoals of mullet nosing about too...

It's a big beautiful estuary, and not fished by many people, and you're right it is soo chilled down there you do sometimes see a bite as a bit of a hassle
