Hello, Im wondering if anyone has a guide to making a dripper system. I have most of the parts, Cable, Spikes and 12 way manifold, I bought a dripper system from ebay and got scammed. it was an air pump, seller expected 5 tubes to fit through a 15mm whole and the pipes are 6mm each. the lid was broken and pump was an air pump ect.
im looking to power around 10-15 15lt pots incase i cant water. I have the pots and im not interested in buying half a grand drip system.
any advice?

does the res need to be air tight or anything?

Maxi Jet 1000
High quality pump
100 l per h. The pump that comes with the Wilma 8/ 10/ 16/ 20 pot systems.
it doesnt need to be air tite but if u can its better but as long as it dark nd has a lid it'l b good
light nd nutes = algi

Will 13mm tubing fit directly onto the pump you think?

not a bad system except mines slightly different
maxijet water pump in a rez pumping upto a higher and alot smaller rez , the higger rez has a union to allow a hose attachment and then onto a manifold to the buckets )
the difference is the pumps not under pressure then to feed the lines , if a line comes off its interesting to see just how much the bastard will spray everywhere before i spot it , on a loft grow ill not risk the ceiling , with little resistance the pump will happly work for years without hitch , theres also less tubing i find from this method

mate, the air pump will come in handy anyway, just add an air stone & some tubing & your nutes get loads of oxygen.
when you get a water pump, just check the nozzle width size, you can get the tubing at bnq.

I bought a 13mm Topspin octopus coz I was pissed of messing about with drip systems, it fits onto the outlet of my MJ1000 pump. Yor rez should be light tight but not air tight. B&Q do a black 18 lt rez for about £6 it comes with a lid. I think that it may take along time to thoroughly water 10x15lt pots via a 13mm system as generally the feeder pipe goes down to about 4mm. To be honest mate I think that I would look at something like a topspin but probably a couple of the 25mm ones!

Here's a pump free system I'm in the process of putting together:
Bucket on shelf with fitting for 12mm pipe on bottom of bucket plus hole in shelf to allow pipe through.
12 mm pipe runs to where the plants are, reducer takes it down to fit 5mm dripper line, Tee fitted.
Dripper ring using one Tee per plant, dripper line from each Tee to dripper in plant pot.
If 5 plants and you want them to have a litre each, then pour 5 litres in the bucket.
