Hi, i was going to grow some Original Afghani #1 but the site i was gonna buy them off had none, so gonna try the Pure Afghan from DNA instead. Had a look on the search, but only came up with some old posts with not much info. So, has anyone grown these at all and got any info on them at all?
Cheers

Grown a few different things from DNA and has always been good... Not done these, but this is the blurb from there website about them...

DNA Genetics - Pure Afghan Cannabis Seeds

The Pure Afghan Cannabis Seeds are an exclusive landrace from the Mazari Sherif region of Afghanistan. And she certainly is different, being the only DNA strain that is bred outside of Holland and from a fresh seed stock.

Being a short plant from a mountainous region, the Pure Afghan is an early finisher with a short flowering time.

A purely Indica Strain
Grows short and stout
Has a short flowering time

Flowering Period: 7 - 8 Weeks
Indica/Sativa: Indica
Yield: 400-500g/m2
500-600g/m2
Culchi
Hi mate - I'm on a 3rd generation of one particular pheno of those at the minute, hoping to flower them after taking some cuttings at the end of the week. The mum was a nice smoke, didn't get much yield from the 1st gen cuttings (probably entirely due to my lack of gardening skills to be honest), but the 2nd generation ones are looking good, quite short (about 3 feet) and very bushy, I'll try and get a pic of them up at some point. As I say, it was just that one pheno I liked out of the few I grew, but am only a starter grower, veteran soap smoker, so don't take my word for it. lol.gif In saying that though, the mum was very juicy even at 5-6 weeks - I only had to touch her and my hand was gleaming.

The rest of the crop I found quite bland tbh, even grown for longer, but the one I got had a nice anaesthetic, tingly all over feel to it, at least the mum did, last batch didn't come to much, but will let you know in a couple of months how these cuttings do. Quite couchlocky - would be of some interest to the terminally lazy and the chronic bored.

They do bend well and seem quite forgiving to a novice like me. My wife said Lucy (that's what I named the mum btw - I have the 3 Lucettes at the minute) had a lovely, unusual bouquet, before and after smoking. Seemed a shame to lose her, so she's in my keeper's list for now. I dunno mate tbh, my granny's favourite joke was, "what's the difference between an elephant's arse and a lemon? Suck it and see". She was alright was my gran. lol.gif
