Hey peeps .. scorched one of my babies doh.gif it seems to be recovering fine, but should I take surgical steps and remove the crispy bits, or leave it to take care of itself. Whaddya'll think?

I did exactly the same thing. I was a little over ambitious with the HPS light. My experience at growing is minimal to say the least, but I can tell you I left them to recover on their own, then several weeks later after much more new growth had appeared, the affected leaves shrivelled right up and easily pulled off. I would say that as long as some of the leaf is still green, it still contains active thylakoids and is contributing to photosynthesis so best left alone. Just my opinion.
