hi on my first week of flowering with hood and two 250 hps but i can now start to smell it pretty bad does any one know how to make a really good filter oh and really cheap i have fans which both suck and blow ;;;;;;;;so can use them if any one has any ideas i am good with my hands so im told

charcoal`s the answer,but how i know not 
as in ordanry charcoal for bbq if u had a 6 inch pipe filled with it for about 3 meterswell packed and blew your bad air up it do u think it would work
check the DIY forum here for topics on building your own carbon filter. I strongly recommend buying a good cf though. Otherwise you are at a very high risk of getting busted. 
I have a carbon filter in my growdrobe its really good for smell.
Recently invested in some thin-ish rubber sheeting for ponds to use as sealent round the gaps, cut it into long strips and put it around the edges to block the light and seal the edges. It took ages to put on, stapled it all around the doors.
It really keeps the smell in and contaminants out, as well as the heat in. My nighttime temperature is about 19 now (about 15 before we put it on) sooo its looking good.
But yeaaah, its really good for smell if you want to put the time in, heres a pic to help u see what i mean.

if smell is gonna be a major issue for ya then i advise buying a propa c/f
unless you are capable of producing some quality DIY skills, cause you'll need em

What ever filter you use, its going to cause drag. So you will need a proper fan rvk or ruck in that sense. Pc or bathrooms fans wont make the cut i think. invest in proper ventilation it might save you from getting nicked

hey man dont diss the bathroom fans my first grow was with a cf on a bathroom fan
4x greenhouse cheddar it seemed to work tho im using it to eliminate the smell from the veg room atm...seems to keep the greeny smells at bayClick to view attachment
