Hi all.

As Big Bang is my first grow and as I don't see alot of Big Bang talk here, I'd thought I show how nice and bushy these bad boys get. these are 30 days from the seeds arriving though my letterbox. in a 1 x 1 x 2 m tent. the badboy in the top left is around 12 inches tall - I'm gonna leave another week before flowering.

These are short, stocky and tough. the internode length is around an inch. The mutant in the bottom left has double everything. I had five which germmed, but euthanised one as it was a runt. these things have started to smell in the veg stage, so I think they're gonna be stinky. Leaves are a little dark on the tips due to cold temps, but have two rads coming tomorrow. have had a little yellowing but nothing major. These are all organic using only biobizz. Will keep you updated. sorry about the lines in the photo - was taken on iphone.

400w hps.

id had it under 4 x 30w 6400k cfl's to start, but just chucked in "the flowering room" with the HPS as my temps were v low. p.s. these are very temp sensitive.

looks like my lack of a heater at night is affecting Ph uptake as stems are specked red and tips are dark and cabbage like. have got a 2ft tube rad and thermosat plug coming tomorrow.

I didn't realize how low these are, they seem to be very compact if you keep the light close and with a 400w hps in my loft I have been keeping them within 10 - 12 inches and they luv it.. have noticed them pick up with the addition of H202, but I think that's just cos they're in soil.

I'll see if I can dev a grow diary for these.

I have just switched to 12/12 and the buggers are bushier than kate bush wiv an afro. I'm at 5 weeks from seed and they're barely contained in 1mx1m tent.

I'll chuck some nice pics in soon when i'm less stoned and figure out how the god damn hell to use the wife's camera.

Some better pics for you. these guys are 5 weeks from seed and are on their fist day of flowering. I have flowered early as these were looking ready and this is my first ever grow so I wanted to keep them managable.

theres nothing like getting wasted on your first grow mate , when you can sit back and enjoy the fruits ov ya labour

BTW.... They have really picked up since I started using Hydrogen Peroxide...

Also... I was told by a friend that Apple cider vinegar is really beneficial, not only as PH up, but as an additive . i.e not just to manage PH ? I was sceptical but they have really perked up

My tap PH is 8 and I need 20mls of ACV in 6 litres to get to 6.

Hence the flowering early method. I have removed a stack of leaves but I think I'm gonna have to be a bit more ruthless with the pruning.

I've grown Big Bang Several times now and found it a good quick, strong plant that has a good smoke to it. tasty and very potent. My girlfriend likes it a lot and she says it makes her immensely horny!!!
try to chop them when about a third to a half of the resin glands have turned amber for the best balance of high/stone.

Wait until amber... I thought i had to wait until they were just cloudy..

I have soooo much to learn.. How long did your guys take to flower ? was it the 8 weeks as advertised.

if they are all cloudy the stone is very creepy and not as balanced out. much better when taken to approx. 1/3 amber and rest cloudy for best effect. my lass had (got the all clear in Jan =D) Hodgkin's Lymphoma and she loves Big Bang!! amazing pain meds tbh and good for muscle aches. very relaxing!!
