I didnt top it, i grew single cola style and was extremely inpressed, see no reason why not though, i would top next time just because i always do now.

I never topped mine but i think it would help yield wise and would help you get an even plant canopy. Meaning no light waste. The ss is one bushy mother fucker. There is loads of lower growth that light cant get through too. Good luck mate.

yeah i topped my sativa looking pheno and turned into a very nice bush. but not to sure about the indica pheno for topping, im tying mine down and seem to be doing great with it(though without trying the other 2 have multi colas).
