Hi, I want to bury my 100mm s&p for my greenhouse.

Any bright ideas on how to waterproof it underground?

I was thinking maybe to join 2 small storage boxes together using silicon, then wrap it with polythene or something.

Or do you think I should just build a soundproof box above ground? I need it completly silent though and I'm pretty pushed for space, soo leaning towards burying it. As the greenhouse is only 4 x 2 FT.

Cheers for any suggestions

maybe make the box pyramid shape so any water seeping through the earth goes down the side of the box and not into it.

Good luck

yeah thanks for the suggestions pals...

this might be too much work though, plus preying eyes flex.gif

probably just make a box and make it as soundproof as possible.

and if i put the passive intake on the ceiling of greenhouse, then it should work yeh?

nai mate .... heat rises .. so does the smell with it .. you need the extract as far up as it will poss go .. in the roof ...
and intake as low as poss... and on the opposite side ... otherwise you will have a hot pocket at the top of greenhouse ..
(mmmm hot pockets....)
that will lead to probs.. heat stress and mold spore build up ect ect
NOT WORTH IT! it will fuck ya crop up.

Imagine ...... The fresh air that comes in will travel the least distance possible to CF.
So from your intake draw a straight line to the CF and you can see the route it will take.

CF up high as poss...
Passive Intake at floor level...
you gotta work on the same theory as a normal Grow Room..
There has to still be negative pressure or the whole system is useless
