now im sure a few of you have smoked bushweed (aka commercial), but does anyone know what strain it is????

its been hard to get round my way for a while, and i want to grow some myself (i have bagseed, but dont want no hermies)

incase you havent heard the names "commercial" or "bushweed", im refering to that medium-grade weed, that nearly always comes compressed, seeded and is usually brown
it has more of a savory smell than your average fruity weed

anyone got any ideas as to what it could be???

from what ive read, im thinking possibly durban or purple haze, but havent a clue really

I think that the weed u are talkin bout is lesser quality than High Grade skunk because of the very fact that it has seeds in it. It is proberbly left to grow outdoors naturally and any male plants might not have been removed. Or, I may just be stoned outa my head and talkin a load of nonsence in which case please ignore me

coulda been some bagweed thai ive grown it wasnt the greates plant too big 7ft and not strong enough always ended up with seeds in it no matter wot i done to minimise stress but still smoked

Had a great story about it, a friend of a friend was traveling out in africa. One night he was sitting round the camp fire, as you do, when a local guy becond him over.

"You like smoke?" he asked.
"Ye sure"he replyed
"Follow me."local said

So the friend of a friend followed him into the Bush, about 100m. The local guy then pulls out a carrierbag sized bag of grass.

"This, this is what Moses used to see God. This is the burning bush." He said with conviction, adding. "You want to see God, you smoke this."
So the friend of a friend bought the whole lot for bugger all.

Anyway, this stuff managed to make its way back to the uk, where a friend bought some of it and from whom I got a half. For African Bush it was really nice with quite an up high, that you could still do work whilst stoned.

Liked the story so much that I grew a couple of plants of it, (then learned how to grow), unfortunetly both turned out to be males.

Me n a m8 just went to some woods and caned nearly an 8th in 3 joints, one after the other. Im stoned outa my face tbh.
I got about 2oz of that 1 hermaphrodite plant from bushweed seeds.

doubt its anything as good as that African stuff tho.

i have grown some doozies.....no sign of a ball on them...

please dont bag bagseed....mayaswell plant it and see what comes of it..

and that brown weed is shit....mexicans used to do it it like that i read somewhere..

its dodgy....and it gives me a headache..

I like commercial weed. I find it to be a nice mellow smoke with a buzz to match.

Ive had a bit of mersh over my smokin time. African weed ive had an it gives an a good buzz compared 2 other types. Ive had sum dark green shit which was ok. Some of it comes in proper tight blocks dats alrite aswell. The stuff that comes really flatened out un my experience aint that good. Depends how much skunk u smoke IMO thugh the quality of the weed usually depends on how much seeds there are, more seeds = crap green. Im talkin from a englan POV.
ANYWAY i wouldnt bother growin mersh seeds, u wont get many straight females an the effort you use 2 grow them is better spent on skunk plants or thai or brazilain strains. Unless ur growin ina field den jus buy an ounce an scatter them about!

it maybe jamaican cess weed, im not sure the strain name, try marleys collie, or some sort of collie strain.

Personally i don't think it tastes like any Thai weed i have ever smoked, i always thought it was African aswell.

Not keen on it myself, but i can see why people smoke it, doesn't get you totally wasted like nice buds, but i like getting totally wasted

Have seen a lot of both African(Nigerian and South African) and Thai been grown out the seedy and sticks.To get a nice plant you need 600 watts of light and good ventilation and you can get some very nice plants with the Thai being the best.Had some Mexican years back that was a giant but that would have out yielded the south African but never finished properly cos it just went on and on and i got bored.

BUshweed is from all around the world (or at least poor hot countries). Unless you've been to lets say thailand and experienced it first hand fro yourself its near on impossible to guess where its from. Thats not to say you cant give it a guess or save the seeds! Also lots of these kinds of cannabis are extremely similar in general appearance and general smell if they are grown anywhere near each other EG Cambodian and Thai have always been seen to be fairly similar along with vietnamese (these sats belong to the southeast asian group).

I get what is jamaican mersh sometimes which is dark brown green black. It has a hashy smell to it sometimes charas, sometimes nepali. Also very mellow in small puffs always burns down pure aswell first time i smoked this i got sooo high had red eye for the first time in soo long also kept me high for hours and hours.
80 quid an oz coz i cant get kilos. Anyway ended up smoking bout 1/4 oz a day and got realy bored after a while and sometimes just made me yawn and go to sleep (especialy after a fat joint) but prefer this weed to comericial skunk so much high is so much better and so much 'higher' and the tase i found comercial skunk unbearable when i smoked some for the first time in about 6 months.
Now ive been buying 'High-grade' comes in tiny little blocks for £10 smells like coco sometimes and sometimes a bit petrol but very nice to smoke and very strong fewer seeds light green lime (lots of variation in colour) seems much fresher and to have suffered less from being bricked. dunno where this is from my guess is SA thailand or jamaica. One long joint (pure) is enought to get to pot heads realy realy high however thay would be about 5 quid per joint! Also once got half an oz of thai i didnt know what it was at the time but the colours of the brick where amazing like looking at a rainbow. I realy which stuff like this was available everywhere rather than contaminated hydro the high from that stuff was soo boring and made my head feel bad sometimes never had a bad high with this stuff.

I've had stuff that looks solid, a bit toasted but is really mellow.

It's smells like hash too.
