Hi Folks

I am pretty sure this is LSF on my plants, what do you think.

I took off a load of leaves last night that looked like this

And I just spotted these on the plants tonight

Its a bit of a gutter as my plants were doing really great, they are 4 weeks in and its the first time I have managed to get to this stage with them looking so green and healthy

I used to grow in drobe with passive intakes and used to get all sorts of problems, this time I have a tent with an intake fan and all was going great until around a week ago when this LSF started to show its ugly head

This is a pic of the plants tonight, I took a load of infected leaves off last night

Here is another leaf I picked off this evening

Nice looking plants mate thumbsup.gif

Probably is LSF

Can't do nothing about it now really, just harvest when done and enjoy smile.gif

Then start treating the next lot (ie the mums/clones) With something like Plant Magic or Rootgrow
Even if its not LSF, they will benefit from those supplements anyways thumbsup.gif

nice plants mate yes.gif

Looks like LSF type fungus to me sad.gif If you wanna fight it you can still spray with Essence this late in - I sprayed the shite outta mine up to 6 weeks in this time and it eventually stopped it - no new spots last c3 weeks

Bastard innit ? Atb man spliff.gif

Cheers guys, bastard LSF though, grrr

I have been reading up on the Plant Magic stuff today, it looks like a great product and a real godsend for us canna growers, I will be ordering some next week.

Luckily its not ripping through my plants at a rate of knots, I have done the usual disinfect every thing, taken off all the infected leaves and I also put another clip on fan in there today so there is one fan blowing across the tops and another at floor level blowing up through the plants, my environment is pretty good with temps 21 at night and 25 lights on, humidity never goes above 40 so hopefully it won't get too bad.

The annoying thing is this is my first grow in my new modern flat, my old flat was full of damp and I never got LSF there.

Cheers

Try Bio Defence by Bcuzz purple 2 part formulation, it worked well for me and my mate who had lsf, its organic and only a tenner for a good few applications.
Tree Man
up your extraction and get some essence dude..

Personally I'm suspicious of LSF diagnoses... although as others have said, using essence will potentially fortify the plant in other ways.

The reason I'm suspicious of the LSF diagnosis is that the brown spots on the pic above are centred around the midrib of the leaf. If the spots were due to germinating fungal spores then surely they'd be distributed more evenly over the leaf? Why/how would spores cluster around the midrib?

Looking at this chart, the whole pattern of syptoms looks quite different to me...

Anyhow - be interesting to see how it goes...

Cheers
