Hi peeps across the pond. ph34r.gif

Just asking if anyone know any way of eradicating scarab beetles...........Click to view attachment

The "pest" has taken up residents in the bottom of my medium (Coco) pinch.gif Click to view attachment

I think it's 'chompin' on the roots of my flowering outdoors girl causing her to stall. The bastard is in the medium.
I have experienced this problemlast year & didn't know what product if any may help.

I know good drainage and a dry compost/coco will help me & 'Milly' out but I am wondering if there is a single chemical warfare I may resort to> > > 34.gif

Hi Tightbud .........aye they are big enough. thing i were coming to the end of our outdoor season ................... and she is 3 weeks into flowerClick to view attachment & I'd not be really wanting to repot at this point.

If my hunch is correct he lack of drainage is a major contributor. I was a bit overly conservative with the amount of hydrotron I had available at the time. I recall having this problem previously. I know moisture in the medium is a good stimulus to there growth. It could be one or it could be 5 hidden under the coco.

I may loose a cola (1 Stem) but that's summer-Autumn Grows.

I have learn't that the moisture is a major contributor to my problem. So 'Milly's' in quarantine (not that I suspect the problem is contagious), but so I can eliminate/control 'environmental precipitation" (rain) & keeping the medium (coco) totally dry.
I'm going to drive "witchity grub" to the top to face up 2 me.
I'm gonna be driving that fat bastard grub(s) closer to the surface. where I'll be ready spliff.gif

iamafunkimunki ............ I will resort to short term chemical warfare agents but only at a last resort.

I was hoping some one may supply with a product.

still hoping unsure.gif
