Sorry to hear about your probs Rainman - and sorry I can't help here - but it can't be anything too bad as they are all growing together and then they would all be getting the brown edged leaves.

Maybe that particular female is a bit more sensitive to heat/ferts/humidity ?

Most of mine have yellowing lower fan leaves now - an outside thing I think.

Hope it all comes good for you - and that your other two turn out fems as well.

Cheers for the reply SL, since yesterday evening I have been covering one of the randoms to keep the light off them from about 7pm. I took the covering off at about 11am today, trying to give the plant a real idea that it's flowering time. Tonight and from now on the cover will be coming off when it's dark outside. Hopefully this will speed up the flowering and allow me to determine the boys from the girls. I'm planning to induce flowering on another of the randoms from tomorrow, so if there are any females amongst them they will have a decent chance of finishing, which has never happened and I suspect can never happen this far North, unless I heat the greenhouse. The third random, the youngest of the three, looks like it may be a headache inducer as it's caught up height wise with the two older randoms, the leaves are the size of my hand already and the spaces between the internodes are huge. It also looks as though it's very sativa dominant which I understand will make it a naturally late finisher so may be massive, if it's female I'll put up with it. biggrin.gif

good luck bud. im also fae Scotland and grew outside here for a fair few years now and always get a finished harvest (although last year was a washout as far as a good one was concerned). greenhouses are really hard to grow in and require so much effort i avoid them. the buds turn to mould almost overnight and its really hard to contain in a glasshouses. outdoors the mould does kick in on a wet/damp years but the wind seems to keep it at bay until you find any remove it. i find that our mist we get is alot worse for producing mould than a heavy shower of rain is. thats when im on major mould alert and checking my plants every few days.

not sure where you are but im about 56* N and although its not the warmest place in the country i get quite a nice result with especially hollands hope. ive tried all sorts here and i still am trying them but you really should include HH in your grow as its the only one i can rely on finishing up here without any/too much mould. durban poison does quite well but ive had problems with late flowering times on some of them so even DP are a bit of a gamble but worth it if they finish as its a top smoke for outdoor gear.

never tried force flowering as its far too much hassle for a pisshead/stoner like me but i reckon its got to be the way forward up here if you have time for it. there was a fella on overgrow from up here who used to force all sorts of indoor plants outdoors here and what a lovely job he done with them too. he was smoking quality cured buds in september when all of us were still waiting on our october plants to finish! i wish that site was still here as there was some really nice outdoor scottish grows on there every season.

i usually harvest about mid october and have pulled in plants as late as bonfire night ('early' special! haha what a joke but mould free i might add!) and even in the low temps we get up here then they still flower like fuck and put on weight daily so i wouldnt worry about a heater for the greenhouse its a fan you really want to be putting in there to stop the humid conditions that your greenhouse produces.

we have shit loads of nice spots to grow up here mate which enables us to grow a fair few plants without much risk of getting rumbled. the more plants you grow the less pressure is on to get a winters supply. ie, if you think you need 4 plants for a winters smoke grow 20 here as you can be sure as shit as soon as you reply on something it wont happen. people recommend 3x the amount - 1 for the rippers, 1 for the weather and one for yourself. here its a case of grow 4x as many for the weather lol.gif. good luck with this dude i got this saved now and will pop in to see how yours are budding up in a couple of months.

ODB sorry for typing a novel i got carried away!

Edit : if you can find some of the danish beans kicking around they do well here too and are really early. cant believe i forgot to give them a wee shout out!

I used to get bad Botritus in my greeenhouse with my grapes, I got power to the greenhouse and hooked a bathroom extractor fan up now no porblems bet it would work fine for dope as well. My fan is less than 20w an hour or roughly 1 unit every 2 days.
