Hi, my friend just bought a 4 pot - 30L flood and drain kit (recirculating), we're not sure how many feeds to give per day. Do you feed more times as they grow bigger? I'm guessing you just flood for 15 minutes each feed? Do you feed at night? Any tips/advice would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I flood for four minutes every three hours the lights are on.

i flood for two minutes every three hours, even when the lights are off.

hint: turn the pump on and see how long it takes to flood the entire medium, and thats how long you need.

i work off the principle that everytime you flood, when it drains it pulls in loads of oxygen for the roots, and thats why i fit as many floods as a digi timer will allow

Thanks, I was going to use a 15 min segment timer, which is why I got a bit confused as it it is too long to flood for, but now I understand to use a digital timer, that solves everything. Thanks alot guys.
