I am having a go at growing a couple of Hindu Kush babies & was wondering if anyone else has experience of growing them & what to expect at the end.

Full Version: Anyone growing Hindu Kush
its a lovely strain, not growing it but i cant get enough 
those plants look very small for 8 weeks try potting them up

My very first grow was Hindu Kush, i'm a newbie and now only on my second grow (BLZ bud this time).
Three clones in an NFT 205 tank, left them alone, no trimming or topping. 3 weeks veg, and 5 flower (used Canna nutes throughout, and the grow guide i picked up from the shop), 400w HPS.
They grew well in veg, but in flower they stretched big time and each main cola grew really tall (about 6ft) and I ended up bending them over in the last two weeks cos they were right up in the light.
Was a lovely bit of weed though, tasted and smelt like red seal or squidgy black hash. Got 6 1/4 oz and a shit load of trim

Re-reading my post, i put 5 weeks flower, i meant to put eight! Newbie I told ya so...

They are a bit small Green Dreamer. I didn't realise my lights were on 16/8
I'm potting them on this weekend & have put the lights up to 20/4.
I'm a bit concerned Woody at the height at which yours reached. I've only got 5' ceiling height.
What age shall I put them to flower? Any ideas?

Iv been looking at this strain, what seedbank is yours from?
I was thinking of doing an outdoor grow with the nirvanas one as nirvana reckons they finish flowering in late august or september

I got them from Sensi Seeds.
Can't help you with out door grow as I've no experience with it. Too many neighbours.
Outdoors or in a greenhouse they will finish 10 - 15 september, that was nirvanas.They suffer mould tho if they get wet.Best to do cuttings or prune.Kulu's Hindu Kush did well inside, but i didnt try it outside.I am growing crosses of them from 4 years ago as they are good to breed with.

awsome, did u grow them yourself or find out from somewhere else? was the smoke good from growing them outside?

Did some Purple Kush(from bagseed) outside bout 15 years ago and that was a quick finish with no mould too.Bout 5 years ago i did aload of nirvanas Hindu Kush which went outside as cuttings, some went in a greenhouse and all finished before Durban Poison(Dutch passion)and Passion 1.Much better smoke too although they got mould as did everything else.The Kush didnt get above 4ft or so.I also did some doublebubble once that came in at the end of august!
