Hello..

I got myself a new Nvidia card so i could get Ubuntu working on my desktop biggrin.gif slightly off topic!

I have been playing a few games like Americas Army, Nexuiz and Foobilliards (all free), i tried call of duty 5 on my system but its hammered but i notice my system lives up to the specs of older versions of COD so how can i get hold of these online? I don't mind paying a small price as torrents are no-go here? sad.gif

Im new to gaming at the young age of 48 rofl.gif
yes i should grow up but i don't have a job at the mo pinch.gif

oh mate, i absolutely sessioned this game to death online. Ill go into geek mode on you, i was in one of the top clans on the game for a long time. After cod2 and other more recent versions came out, the online just died a death, or filled up with hacks and whatnot. Shame. Preferred this type of game to any of the other cods. Try ebay my friend,.

I tried to get hold of a copy of COD2 recently because I admin a server on it for a customer... really struggled to find it 'new' as a platinum line (cheap) product - ended up buying it second hand.

Maybe it 'died a death' because of the jump in hardware specs needed for these new games and people couldn't justify the prices for graphic cards and faster processors? shame .

COD 4 has a 3.0 ghz minimum cpu for what are really small but nice touches in a somewhat manic game!!!!! meaning :who's looking at textures when someone's destroying you? long as it runs fast. Nexius runs average 70fps on a 1.6 sempron biggrin.gif good enough.

*tries ebay wink1.gif
