Pro + contains very little nutrients so will need feeding pretty much straight away.
Best soil out there at the mo imho

do you guys add anything else to your pro+??
I've just got some and didn't know if to add vermiculite or perlite for drainage?

If you are going to add anything to your compost for drainage then coir is more beneficial..

coco is coir isnt it?
no nutrients in pro+ but has trichoderma

its good stuff and ive never ph'd with it or had any lsf problems. wouldnt bother adding perlite etc
I'm not sure where people get this idea that Pro+ has no nutes in it. All the bags i've had don't necessitate the plants being fed for a few weeks. I must admit the N content of the Pro is much higher, but pro+ certainly does contain nutes. Just read the back of the bag, it has it's npk ratio i'm sure.

are we talking about canna coco pro+ here? i was

on the bag it says you need to feed using the correct nutes at 5l/m2
if its not the stuff everyone else is talking about i guess i'll piss off
Canna pro and pro+ are composts, canna also do canna coco professional and we'd be in the hydro section if we were on about that

aaahhhhhhhh
ive always used coco pro+ in pots and watered with a can as you would normally (with a+b etc) and now mix it in with some mp compost so ive never realy seen it as hydro and didnt know they did a different one.
i'll shut the door on my way out
