Hi Guys,
Hope you can help me. Started some LR2 girls at the end of Feb and are now about three weeks old. Gave them natural light in greenhouse and 250WHPS in the evenings followed by about 6 hours of darkness.I now need to place them in their final pots but that means that I can no longer lug them from greenhouse to inside my house. Can I just leave them go in the greenhouse ( it can be heated at night if need be)? At the moment they'd get 12h daylight but that would increase as they mature by the end of April. How would this affect yield and growth rate?
Thanks for your input.

get a oil rad and put it on a timer for night time and your yeild wil be better and no mold problems.as for lowrider2 i done 2 full packs of seeds.and got a average of 3g a plant.top em and defo feed em with sum nitrozyme to get em taller for more bud.

They will grow in 12hours of day light. You dont have to have like 20/4. Yeah id suggest putting some heating on at night if you can.

only 3g per plant. i was thinking of growing some lr2 and was under the impression you could get 28g no problem, might not bother now but will look into it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your input. I don't where 3g per plant came from, but I can tell you it is more like 10 times that amount per plant - at the very least. If I were getting 3g per plant I simply wouldn't grow my own period!

Outdoors you can get 28g's plus, they actually grow better out than in in my experience.
2 Ounce a plant is achievable.
Weedinneed, hah, weed in need indeed! Read around this site and you'll increase your yield dude.

Hi guys,
I've grown LR2 indoor and outdoors. They grow much better outdoors than under lamps indoors. I got about 1/2 oz per plant indoors and close on 2 oz of smokable bud and leaf from outdoor plants in the height of summer. Circumstances have forced me to grow them outdoors earlier than planned this year. The plants are about three and a half weeks old now and were grown under 12 hours of daylight and 6h of HPS, followed by 6h of darkness. They look nice and healthy although they don't yet show prominent signs of pistil growth just yet. I'll be potting them up tomorrow into their final pots and then they'll get just twelve hours light to start with. But we're gaining about 25 minutes extra daylight per week, so by end of April they'll be getting about 15 hours of natural daylight. It'll be interesting to see how well they do. Fingers crossed!

Hi,
No pics just yet. Although they seem to be growing more slowly than before. I'll keep you all informed as developments take place.

Good luck with your grow Nelly,
What size pots are they going into to finish?
I'm on my first LR2 grow germed them on the 23rd and potted them into a compost and vermiculie mix yesterday, a couple have poked there heads through in just 24 hrs in a heated propagator.

Hi Jom,
thanks for the encouragement. They now are about five weeks old and are all in 11L pots. Currently my girls are about 9-10 inches high. They seem much healthier than any ones I grew under lamps. Expect to harvest end of April with luck.

Hiya folks,
Just a quick update. Looks like my girls are doing very well now. Last few weeks have been brill with lots of sunshine and high (greenhous) temperatures. I have five very healthy females and one runt. Nearing the end now. I estimates they would have finished at the end of this week but I think they had a few shocks which stunted their development. The healthy girls are about 30 inches high - not bad for a Spring grow. There is plenty of bud sites and the plants don't look spindly. Seems like they have a few more weeks to finish.
Never had to provide nutes because there is no signs of any deficiency as yet.
I'm a bit taken aback by how slow they are to finish. The buds are still very immature even after 8 good weeks of growth.
For the past 3 weeks I've given them natural daylight in the greenhouse only, but I've now started to bring 'em in under a 40W 4" fluorescent tube to supplement light for a few hours at night. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. They're so far gone down the flowering road now I don't think it'll do them much harm - since they're auto flowering anyway
Wonder how long they'll take to finish? Hmmmmm!
Peace,
Nelly
