Nah, RE4 came out on the Gamecube, in fact the best version of RE4 by a long, long way is the Gamecube version.
RE5 almost certainly won't be ported to the Wii simply because of the graphics, which is a shame. Capcom could do it on the Wii (they claim that even the intro screen is too graphically sophisticated for the Wii, but that's bullshit, the simple fact is with every new generation of graphical and processing power developers get lazier and lazier - why try to squeeze the most out of a system's capabilites when you can just wait for the next gen system to come along and get the same results with lazy, bloated coding ?) but they won't because it would require too much effort. And I wouldn't be surprised if restrictive licensing by $ony and Micro$oft have something to do with it too...
... just screaming for this sucker to go out and buy another console... I'm just upset it's not on the wii really and was wondering if anyone heard any reason as to why... It may be common knowledge I just don't get out that much 'cept round here
