hi all yes time for another post only 2.5 weeks into grow and got a problem,got 2 mazar and 2 blueberry in ebb and flow system,250w hps,feeding ionic grow ec 0.65/ph5.5 temps lights on 28, lights of 18, humidity 39 lights on, 52 lights off.also got a 5"rvk,the problem is these dark green patches on leaves (now turning brown)also the lower leaves are abit yelowish but not to bad,i did overfeed a wee bit last week so dropped the ec from 0.75 to 0.65,what u guys all think sorry about the poor pics

It looks like magnesium and nitrogen deficiency try epsom salts and spray leafs with nitrozyme. Also do you have a heater in your tank, cold water can cause a magnesium problem.

Can't tell much from those pics mate, but one thing I can tell is it's not Mg def. Doesn't look anything like that. Please post pics of the whole plant.

The pics are poor but I'd say give them some epsom salts anyway can't do any harm !

Wrong. Chucking things in randomly on the off-chance they might work is one of the worst things you can do.

I reckon that you are underfeeding, on the side of the Ionic nutes bottle it says feed at a rate of 7mls per litre or ec 1.5.

I use Ionic nutes, admitadly in coco, but I feed my cuttings in rockwool in the propagator at an ec of 0.6 and as soon as I pot up when there is a good root mass at about 2.5 weeks I use Ionic grow at ec1.5 to 1.6 and ph 5.8 to 6.0

Feed them at ec 1.5 and I reckon you will see an improvement within a day. If in doubt go to the Growthtechnology website and you can't go far wrong if you follow their instructions.

yep looks just like a fungal problem i had on some white russian last year !!!! tbh it didnt get to bad the plants finished and the smoke was fine

break out some essence sharpish bud !!!! also the ec seems a little low bud !!



yep bud if you go off the bottle with ionics coco your nowhere near the required ec i find i need to add about 10 mil per litre to get a ec of around 1-5

best going off the meter rather than the bottle

ok cool thanks do u know where i can get the essence from?also im doing ebb and flow not in coco,when i check the runoff ec its still the same as when i mixed the nutes

ok going to order some 2day,it says after u mix spray on plants,do i do this at lights off yeah?also could i add some to the res?i was thnkn ec is fine but do u thnk i should up the nutes?i found a post on here a few months ago that ionics are good but if u under do it there is true .thanks to u all what a great site

had another thought (its a long shot) have you sprayed them with water or similar when the lights were on? if you have it may be burn.

nope i never spray them with water,but i do get a jug of water and fill up the bowls in the room?thanks for the input
