Rushed out and bought this game as i did quite enjoy the demo and has been a while since i've bought a brand spankin new title.

I do enjoy the game and all that but it keeps crashing (not my aircraft)!!

Anybody else had a similar prob? I'm using an Xbox 360 btw

mines running fine dude (mines a copy i downloaded of the net too)
ive been disconnected from the game when playing multiplayer a couple of times though

Can you guys tell me is this game any good? im reluctant to buy a Tom Clancey game cos frankly all his others have been so very gash (flame away)

I really want a flying shooting kinda game and this is a strong contender but ive heard it just stunning to look at and thats about it.

Bring back UN Squadron on the SNES

I ran it round a mates house with no problems (he's just bought a new xbox). I exchanged the disk and played it now on the level with the stealth bomber and it just crashes. You get like yellow static/snow over the top and my xbox becomes unresponsive, praying i don't get the red ring of death anytime soon

All my other games work perfect.




This is my first aircraft warfare game and when it does work i do enjoy it. The graphics are good and the gameplay is fun and you do get a wide slection of planes and weapons. The one-liners you hear on the radio are a bit cheesy to say the least and it's the first Tom Clancy title i've picked up.

I'm wondering if i should just wait for some kind of update

This week i have been playing Tom Clancy`s Hawx.

This arcade flight game has the best visuals i have seen on any Flight Sim. The citys look amazing. Stunning.

Though i must stress its no Flight Simulation.

There is no take off and landings. You start in the air and finish there.

This aside, Its no flight simulator more an enjoyable flight shoot em up.

The aircraft models look good, though i have seen better, In Hawx bomb bays and things like that dont open like Air Combat 5. I felt a little let down by this as they feel rushed into production.

Also the flight geeks might notice its not a Mig-25 as stated but the Mig-31. Again maybe there research was rushed.

Over all i would give Hawx 6 outa 10.

Meh.. My Xbox finaly packed up and got the ring of death!!

It started crashing on the dashboard and the wireless adapter at the back wouldn't properly switch off. I only got it Xmas before last but on their site it says you have a 3-year warrenty in case of red-ring (sounds contagious ). Only thing is it's late sunday and no one's at the office and blah blah blah!!

I blame the bloody game

honestly dude you would be so much better off ordering a red ring repair kit for about £5 of fleabay and doing it yourself.
The kit fixes are so much better and more reliable than what microsoft will do, they will probably replace the original crappy parts for more crappy parts, and if its happened once it will happen again, whereas with a kit repair it will NEVER happen again. You are basically bolting the heatsinks onto the motherboard with proper heavy duty bolts - not scrawny pointless x-clamps like microsoft use,
i done a red-ring repair on my little brothers console at the weekend and it took me an hour and a half - and an hour of that was waiting for the thermal paste to set, but most importantly im 100% confident il never have to open that console again.

If you have even the slightest bit of technical knowledge id be tempted to do it myself, its such a peice of piss

Now back to the topic of the HAWX game - the only difference between that and others out there is that it has the new xbox dashboard installed on the disc (theres only 2 others like it at the moment and they are mlb2009 and trivial pursuit) but bearing in mind thats the only difference i dont think that would have anything to do with it, just bad luck i reacon dude
