Hi all.. wondering can you help... my flowering room is going really well, have 16pod system and its all rosy.. I now have alot of clones and want a system where I can transfer rockwool cubes, after three to four weeks into the 16 pod system..... using rockwool cubes I am looking at a system where the transfer will be easy with minimum root stress.. propagtor wont do for 4 weeks, so would be very interested in any ideas (NFT maybe??)
Thanks in advance x

nft wont work as they become one root mat , bubblers would be ok small buckets
what is the pod system ? what method of hydro do you use ?

alrite jiffa, its a yeildmaster 16. sits on the ground water gets pumped through the top and drips out the emitter down through the buckets "inner". then after the flush that stops. and then the return pump comes on and drains water back to res.. my strain normally takes 10-11weeks. clones in the prop normally 2weeks by thatstage they r in 3inch cubes so need 2 get them out of there and in 2 a system for week or 2.. normally veg for about 4-5 weeks .. make any sense mate. took me 15min 2 type this up.

so whats in the bucket
is this the new aero /dwc buckets ?
if you can see roots when you take of bucket lids then i would make up a smaller bubbler system to keep them in just water and an airstone
or an aroeponic prop like the rainforest would work

clay pebbles. and no lids. its a bucket that sits in another bucket with about a 6inch gap on the inside from the inner bucket 2 the bottom of the other bucket it sits in. at the very bottom of the bucket it sits in there is always about 2inches of water lying there' this water gets moved and replaced each cycle. the reason it always sits there is 2 balance the system out. so roughly there is 90litres in res and the same amount broke up in the 16 buckets. buckets are "15litres" each. works ok but had 2 slightly modify it. "meant 2 be a flood and drain" similar 2 wat esotric"s have. but its not gravity that takes it bak 2 the res, its the pump that sucks it bak, any howz mate or any one else got any ideas on the system i require 2 keep young plants in for 4-5 weeks then move them in 2 my main room with out having any root problems. or are they ok just to plonk in there wit all those roots hangin from them. any help would be appreciated. nice1..............................................

im trying to say get the same system on a smaller scale maybe??. then transfer the buckets with ur freshly vegged plants straight into the flowering system. or at least try to get the same buckets to fit into the system?? maybe

I have the same system as you, and had the same problem.
I bought a tray it only 16 cm tall, fill it with clay pebbles and i feed the rockwood blocks with dippers and drain it to a reservoir. i keep them there until the roots get out of the block.
