hi there, i was planning on doing my first real gurilla grow this year, but then i thought about autoflowering as maby dare i say an easy option? basicly i was just thinking about starting them indoors for a few weeks till there hardy enough then put them outdoors possably in pots as they stay short and finnish fast. has this been done before ? im awear that autoflowering seeds yeild poorly and to be honest its npt somthing ive conciderd before but i was thiniking surley it would be best to harvest mid summer before the bad weather starts. so any advice and or recomendations for strains would be great, thanksd alot brothers.

either do a seed run and plant out 20+ plants or plant out 2 - 5 "normal" plants and keep low if thats what you desire.
i have 5 lr#2's on the go at the moment im doing a seed run with, hoping for more than 50 seeds, so i can plant half out, still deciding weather im going to plant out more normal plants.
would think if you want an early crop you would need the numbers as id expect 1 plant to finnish with half oz max in the great british weather (thats any auto not counting original lowryder as thats real shit)
though depending how great weather we get you could end up making oil from whatever you grow.

I'm going to plant out autos from April and keep sowing until June/July. My plan is to have some plants in flower at all times, just in case there is another mini heatwave followed by washout. I've got a couple of hundred Auto AK47 seeds I made last year, and crosses with Auto Kush. The early Autos should be ready by July, when I will plant out a couple of regular strains.

Not all LR derived strains are poor are they? What about Lowlife's Diesel Ryder? I was gonna go with that for a patio grow.

as far as i know the only real poor strain would be the lowryder.
Lowryder#2 on the other hand...
heard you can pull 1 - 2oz a plant in 6.5L pots... and if thats true, i can fit 25 pots in my 1m sq box
and all the other auto strains are ment to be real good (diesel ryder ment to be real good)
though i do think autos should be used as a supplement, especialy as you can fit em between non autos in ur box (usually)

Ive found lowryder 2's to be a big improvement on the original lowryder, even more so if your growing them outdoors under the sun.. a cracking little plant to have ready for finish in late june or early july in a garden.. had a few autos in the garden for an early finish for a couple of years now, its all win regardless of the low yields of 14/20g per plant in early summer..

now all we need is a strain with G13/black domina knockout with (insert huge budding strain here) with auto flower traits and i think apart from the sativa side they would have the whole "make auto canna project thing" complete

Honest opinion on lowryder number 2 and lowlife auto hindu kush, grown kush once and low ryder number 2 twice. It gets you stoned but its not very strong at all (if you've ever smoked pot a lot you will probably be dissapointed, still its better than nothing going to veg these ones i just potted and once they go in flower cabinet im putting some sensi star in to veg. low ryder is good to get used to the idea of growing because you can make mistakes and not lose as much time if everything goes wrong. its been a good learning experience, i haven't learnt much patience though, i love my plants to death (literally, i need to learn to leave them alone when nothing is wrong)
